Elements of art are stylistic elements used in a work of art to aid the artist in communicating. Line, shape,
texture, type, space, color, and value are the seven most common components, with the additions of mark
making and materiality. The spectator is led to a deeper understanding of the work by analyzing these
purposefully used elements. These elements can be difficult to see in some works of art, but if you look closely
enough, you can find them. Some artists use just a few of the elements at a time rather than all of them at the
same time. The elements of art are important for several reasons. First and foremost, it is impossible to produce
art without employing at least a couple of them. Second, understanding the elements of art allows us to explain
what an artist has done, analyze what is going on in a specific piece, and express our thoughts and findings in a
common language.

2. Allied Arts / Combined Arts / Hybrid Arts are the terms used when referring to different Forms of Art
merged to create another Artwork.
Two common examples of Combined Arts are Movies and Video Games. They both require several fields of
expertise, skills, and talents to produce a finished product. Developing a video game or producing a Film is very
significant to the economy of a country. Production companies can provide job opportunities for artists to earn
income and express their artworks and skills. Films and video games provides entertainment and relaxation for
the people.
