Position: Project Engineer

Purpose of the Role:

Coordinates and monitors all Engineering functions within the IGP Project. Participates in IGP Project
from FEL studies through to assisting construction coordinating activities during implementation.

Accountabilities:
1. Assist in preparing FEL 1, FEL 2, and FEL 3 studies related to the IGP Project.
2. Responsible to ensure that the engineering study activities related to the project are conducted in
a professional manner and aligned with Vale Engineering Standardization System
3. Review engineering progress with project teams and solicit feedback from operational & technical
personnel regarding design, issues, suitability, etc.
4. Assist with coordinating resolution of engineering and scheduling issues and conflicts with
construction and/or procurement.
5. Work closely with engineering consultants related deliverables including off-site activities at
consultant’s location during the study phases.
6. Coordinate and participate in field/site visits and workshops as required.
7. Work with process plant, mining and permitting personnel to review and seek input on projects as
required.
Implementation Phase:
8. Coordinate all project construction activities with Vale operations
9. Manage contractor commissioning activities, pre-startup inspection and turnover to project
commissioning team.
10. Review engineering progress with project teams and solicit feedback from operational & technical
personnel regarding design, issues, suitability, etc.
11. Assist with coordinating resolution of engineering and scheduling issues and conflicts with
construction and/or procurement.
12. Assist in liaising between Design Consultants and site.

Requirements:
4. S1 degree majoring in Engineering
5. Minimum 7 years work experience
6. POP Certification is preferred
7. Professional Engineer - PII (Persatuan Insinyur Indonesia) is Preferred
8. Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English
9. Willing to travel frequently to Site (Bahodopi/Pomalaa)
10. Willing to be relocated to PTVI Site (Sorowako) in the study phase
11. Holder of Kolaka ID Card
