SUB: Amendments in coordination procedure between Ozar. Surat, Ahmedabad and


Mumbai ATS units.

Based on the online meeting held on date 23'd March 2O2L between Mumbai ,
Ahmedabad , Surat and OZAR ATS and further deliberations/discussions, the existing
LOAs and Coordination Procedures are amended as follows w.e.f. 21st Apri! 202L.

A. Amendment to coordination Procedure/LOA Between Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Ozar


and Surat.

1. As per existing LOA, Ozar will take ADC, FIC Number along with Squawk code for all
departures from Mumbai OCC.
2. FL 110 shall bethe pre-coordinated level for Ozar departures towards SG (W151) to
reach by 35NM from OJR. After departure Surat will be informed about the depa.rture
and estimates by OZAR. Surat ATC will take level availability from VAAH ACC before
giving further climb to the aircraft.
3. For fighter aircraft departing from OZAR routing via SG or PEGNU, OZAR may climb the
aircraft to the level approved by Ahmedabad wiihin OZAR LFA and after reaching level
aircraft will to set course to SG / PEGNU . Traffic information and estimates should
also be passed to Mumbai ACC by OZAR ATC.
4. As per existing LOA, Arrivals to Surat from North will be released by Ahmedabad at or
above FL 120 over SG. Refer para 7.2 (f) of LOA between Mumbai/Ahmedabad lDaman/
Bhavna ga r I Sural/ Ozar.

5. Mumbai ACC/OCC shall pass traffic information regarding all north bound flights
(including helicopters) transiting / operating in the vicinity of BVR/SUR / ISRIS and SG at
or below FL 160 to Surat ATC during Watch Hrs of Surat ATC.
As per existing LOA, Ahmedabad ACC will pass traffic information to Surat during its
Watch Hrs , of south bound flights at or below FL L60 for flights transisting / operating
in the vicinity of SG/ SUR / BVR

B. Amendment to Coordination Procedure /LOA between Mumbai and Ahmedabad.

a) For the purpose of efficient allocation of flight level at way point RASKI in respect of
west bound flights, VABB OCC and VAAH ACC would affect mutual coordination . For
priority of assigning LEVEL- General principle of preference to Long-Haul Flights, Flight
Already maintaining level, Flights reporting CAT etc. should be adhered to.
b) ln respect of aircraft departing from VAAH on 1539, VABB OCC will strive to
accommodate these aircraft at FL 300 or F320 as per lower level published ln AUP/UUP.
For such flights, Pre departure coordination will be affected by VAAH ACC based on
which VABB OCC will issue the clearance expiry time for blocking of flight level over way
point RASKI.
c) The TCP between VAAH AND VABB on ATS route 1639 (East /West bound) will be way
point lSLlL.
d) For west bound flights, VAAH ACC qccurate oircraft estimate for way point
will pass
;SLIL and additionally for waypoint RASKI. When requested by VABB, VAAH will also
pass Mach No. & will impose further restrictions on Mach No. in order to maintain
required separation.
e) All arrivals to VAID and VABP over APANO/PEGNU/UPMAV shall be released by
Mumbai ACC at or below FL33O. However, if available, Ahmedabad ACC will
allocate higher levels to VAID/VABP arrivals.

and if there are no siEnificant complaints within this period . this shall be standard
procedure for coordination after completion of one month
o All coordination between VABB ACC and VAAH ACC shall be primarily done on AIDC
followed by voice Confirmation i.e. "Confirm estimate received for C/s ......" for way
points - SG /BVR/IPN|B and DOSTO / ISRIS /APANO
o ln case estimate is not received thru AIDC by Mumbai ACC, for traffic over SG/BVR /
1PNIB - Estimate shall be passed by VAAH ACCto VABB ACC A thru voice and not
to OCC A. Similarly, if Estimate over DOSTO / ISRIS /APANO is not received thru AIDC
by VAAH ACC, VABB ACC A shall pass estimate through Voice.
a Revision and level changes may be coordinated over voice.
o However, at all other TCPs and for all traffic flying below the vertical limit of
Mumbal TMA , estimates shall be coordinated between Ahmedabad ACC and
Mumbai OCC as per existing procedure.
For coordination of Estimate over ISLIL - lt shall be through voice only.
