Austin ISD
• Virtual learning will be a temporary option available for students
in kindergarten through sixth grade during the Fall 2021
semester (Aug. 17–Dec. 17, 2021) .
• Families must complete the virtual application by Thursday, Aug.
5, at 11:59 p.m.
• A minimum commitment for the fall semester from families will
be required. Students will be able to choose to return to in-
person learning at the end of the second nine-week period (Dec.
17, 2021).

Bastrop ISD

• For the 2021-22 school year, Bastrop ISD will offer only in-
person instruction to all students.
• Students who are in quarantine as a result of a positive COVID
test or an exposure will be able to make up work they miss
similar to any other excused absence.
• Synchronous or asynchronous virtual instruction via Google
Classroom or other online platform will not be routinely utilized.

Burnet CISD

• For the 2021-22 school year, Bastrop ISD will offer only in-
person instruction to all students.
• Beginning June 1, there will not be a face-covering requirement
in Burnet CISD, and the District will be 100% in-person for the
2021-2022 school year.

Del Valle ISD

• Del Valle ISD will be offering a Virtual Learning Academy to


students under age 12
• The academy is open to a limited number of students.
• Registration for the Virtual Academy closes 8/6 at 4:30 pm.
• Virtual Academy will operate for the first 9 weeks of school and
reevaluate if the virtual option should continue after the first 9
weeks.

Dripping Springs ISD

• Dripping Springs ISD has not indicated that they will offer a
virtual learning option in 2021-2022.
• On 7/30 the Superintendent informed parents they expected to
update school health protocols on 8/6.
• “Providing the best possible learning environment during a
pandemic continues to be our priority ... We know that
conditions are continually changing and that our families have a
variety of opinions on COVID-related issues.”

Eanes ISD

• Eanes ISD plans to return to 100% in-person learning for the


2021-22 school year.
• At this time, no remote learning options will be offered
• Face coverings will be optional, regardless of vaccination status

Elgin ISD

• Elgin ISD will offer 100% in-person, face-to-face instruction for


the 2021-2022 school year.
• Elgin ISD will leverage technology to support instruction and all
teaching and learning will be in person on our Elgin ISD
campuses.

Georgetown ISD

• Georgetown ISD will be returning to fully face-to-face learning


for all GISD students in the fall of 2021.
• As of June 1, 2021 masks are optional for all students and staff.

Hays CISD
• Hays CISD will not offer a virtual learning option except in
limited cases
• Hays CISD has created the “Homebound Academy” that will
allow students who qualify to learn from home.
• “Homebound Academy” Students will need a form signed by a
physician providing the medical basis for the need for
homebound instruction.

Hutto ISD
• We will conduct all instruction in person. Virtual learning will
not be an option - students must attend classes five days a
week.
• Masks, social distancing, and temperature checks will no longer
be required.
• Recess and physical education will also resume and cafeterias
will reopen.

Lake Travis ISD

• District has not indicated that they will offer a virtual learning
option for the 2021-2022 school year.
• 7/27 Superintendent update sites failed legislation that would
not fund virtual learning as one factor.
• Masks will be optional for staff, students and visitors.

Leander ISD

• District will provide 100% remote instruction for limited number


of PreK thru 12th-grade students with a health-related concern.
• Students required to commit to a minimum of one semester
• Due to capacity limitations, submissions to the virtual learning
enrollment form are now being entered into a wait list.

Manor ISD

• We are so excited to welcome our scholars back to in-person


learning for the 2021-2022 school year.
• Manor ISD has not indicated on their website if they are offering
a virtual learning option in 2021-2022.

Marble Falls ISD
• The District does not currently plan to offer a remote learning
option. This is primarily for two reasons. First, remote learning
has proven to be significantly less effective for the vast majority
of students, and the State has currently put barriers in place for
implementing remote learning.
• The District does allow anyone to wear a mask and would
encourage anyone who is not vaccinated to strongly consider
doing so.

Pflugerville ISD

• PfISD decided to move forward with a limited K-12 virtual


learning option for its students.
• Space is limited; Applications were due by August 2.
• Students who participate in virtual instruction will not be
assigned to a home campus or a PfISD teacher; a third-party
vendor will provide the virtual instruction.

Round Rock ISD

• Round Rock ISD’s virtual learning program is available for


students in kindergarten through sixth grade.
• Parents and guardians who wish to enroll their student(s) in
virtual learning must complete the transfer form. The form will
remain open until August 9, 2021, at 11:59 p.m.
• Students may transfer back to on-campus learning at any time.
The option to transfer from on-campus to virtual will also
remain open throughout the Fall semester.

San Marcos CISD

• San Marcos CISD does not indicate on their website if they will
offer a virtual learning option for the 2021-2022 school year.
• SMCISD’s goal is to help eligible students and families receive
the COVID-19 vaccination. For individuals who are at least 12
years old, more information on how to receive the vaccination
can be found here.

Taylor ISD
• All students will be returning to in-person instruction in August.
We believe it is in the best interest of students to learn in
school.
• Students with medical documentation of being health
compromised or with pre-existing conditions may qualify for
homebound instruction.
• Wearing a mask is recommended in Taylor ISD and strongly
recommended in settings for elementary students not yet
eligible for vaccinations.
