Dear Families,

Welcome to Summer Credit Recovery for 2021. It has been

quite a year and we are looking forward to assisting your
child with credit recovery.

Here is what you need to know:

• Your child’s location is Coon Rapids High School

• Bus routes have been created by the Anoka-Hennepin transportation
department. To find your student’s bus information log in to A-
HConnect and follow these step-by-step instructions. Contact the
transportation department at 763-506-1125 with questions. Bus
information will be posted online on Monday afternoon, June 14, 2021.

• Summer school starts June 21st and runs through

COON
July 2nd.
• Because of the short nature attendance is essential.

RAPIDS
• On your schedule period 11 is session 1 from 8-10:30
and period 12 is session 2 from 10:35-1:05.
• Study hall is provided for those that only need one

HIGH class. Study hall is not required if student provides

their own transportation.

REGIONAL Chromebooks will not be checked out to students for

summer school but are available in all classrooms daily.
HS CREDIT Credit system- Students are given a pre-test to determine

what high priority standards they need to complete. Once
essential assignments are completed students are given a
post test to determine credit. Students are able to start a
June 21st-July 2nd new course immediately following completion of a course.
At the end of the credit recovery session partial credit will
be awarded based on work completed.
