Offer Letter for TTT Course

Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that we are offering you a Train-The-Trainer (TTT)
course in Junior Innovate 2021.

As a teacher, you will be given full access to our online learning platform (https://lms.chumbaka.asia/),
learning materials, and training sessions via Zoom. Please see the details of your role below:

Role in JI Students Teachers

Responsibilities ● Participate in the competition ● Recruit, coordinate & monitor students for
● Represent STEM-related club to learn competition
technology ● Attend a Briefing
● Help club to coach junior members in the ● Activate STEM-related club using the
future courseware provided

Benefits ● Co-curriculum points for program and
competition
● Chance to receive an innovation grant to
turn prototype into community adoption
● National level cert of participation or awards
● National level cert of appreciation or
recognition
● Courseware can be used for club activities

Upon acceptance of this offer, you will be one of the schools joining this TTT program. Your students
will be able to register their team on our JI website (https://juniorinnovate.asia/).

If this is your school's first time participating in JI, you will receive 1 Arduino training kit
(only for selected states). You are also expected to send a minimum of 3 teams for the
competition. Upon registration of teams, your school will receive additional kits.

If your school joined JI before, you may use your Arduino training kit during the TTT. You
are also expected to send a minimum of 1 team for the competition.

Acceptance of Commitment
I understand that I am given the opportunity to receive a Train-the-Trainer course, and one of the
following:

( mark X in ONE of the boxes below )

My school is I will receive 1 Arduino kit and additional kits upon
participating for the registration of teams. I will send a minimum of 3 teams*
first time from my school. (for first-time school and selected states)

I will send a minimum of 1 team from my school. (for

By accepting this offer, I agree to commit to JI 2021.

Under circumstances when I am not able to fulfil the commitment above, I will:

● write a letter to inform Chumbaka of the reasons, and

● return the Training Kits to Chumbaka in Penang so that they can be shared with other
schools who want the opportunity.

I have read and understand the terms above for JI 2021. I have also read and agreed to the Child
Protection Policy to be observed by both teachers & mentors.
