NOTICE FOR SURVEY CAMP SPRING 2021 UET PESHAWAR

Survey camp for the students of 6th Semester Spring 2021 of the Civil Engineering UET Peshawar is scheduled to be held
at Abbottabad Campus from 5th August 2021 to 24th August 2021.
University buses have been arranged to take students from the University Campuses to Abbottabad on 7th August 2021 at
8:00 am (Sharp).
The students are required to be punctual as the buses will strictly follow the above time schedule. Those who misses the
bus will have to do their own arrangement for reaching to the camp on the same day.
Regular survey work will start from the very first day at Abbottabad Campus i.e., Saturday August 07, 2021 as soon as
the students reached Abbottabad Campus. There will be an information/discussion session at the main hall of
Abbottabad campus on 07th August 2021 at 08:00 PM for all the students of CED.
Camp activities such as Field Survey, Computation, plotting Maps and Viva Voce examination will be completed on or
before 24th August 2021.
Students proceeding to Survey Camp are required to take with them the following articles;
1. All the required proforma for the particular surveying project. (Schedule of the survey projects will be shared with
the students during the discussion session on August 07, 2021.
2. Summer Bedding i.e., mattress, Blanket and pillow etc.
3. Drawing accessories required for noting the field notes, calculator and stencils, Pencils, Sharpeners and Erasers.
4. Is must not only for protecting yourself from Sun heat and rain but also to cover the instrument
in case of rainfall.
UMBRELLA
Authorities of UET Abbottabad Campus have been kind enough to provide seating facilities at their Campus for lunch and
class lecture after the field work. Student found misbehaving toward any one or damaging the Campus property, will be
liable for disciplinary action which may result his/her expulsion from camp.
• A lecture on the survey camp rules regulations and other information will be delivered by the Camp In-Charge at
08:00 pm on Saturday, August 07, 2021 in the main hall of Abbottabad Campus. All the students attending survey
camp are required to attend.
• To record properly field data, a set of proformas / tables will be issued to a group leader during practice, on
Saturday, August 07, 2021. Students are required to take photocopies of the same.
• Students are directed to follow Covid-19 SOPs issued by government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
• Those students who could not reach to the camp on 7th August 2021 up to 8:0 pm will not be allowed to attend the
camp
