II. Background/Rationale:

The community of Sitio Kapitan Maria, San Pioquinto, Malvar, Batangas is known
for its peaceful and comfortable kind of living. Based on our observation, most of the
residents here have stable living and are approachable that is why there is a fast
development of the community. However, some families in our community still have
some problems like unemployment. Not all problems can be solved simultaneously it is
because of the lack of funds. Even though it cannot be solved immediately the barangay
officials are making ways to solve it for the people and for the betterment of the
community. We came up with the advocacy in improving the community by observing
what is lacking and planning on what we can do to help. Within 1-2 hours that we’re
going to spend in this activity, we’ll be able to help, contribute and give love to our
neighbors. During the program, we prepare activities like parlor games and educational
activity to refresh their minds despite of Covid’19 pandemic.

Feeding program is the most outreached solution we could offer to our society.
"Basically, it’s a best preparation to preschool students on public school so they will
encourage eating healthy and their health are to be monitored weekly if there are any
progress and development.”
