Dear Parents,

We are excited to inform you that we will be celebrating National Day in school! As part of the
activity in school, children will be receiving a commemorative book and they will be completing
some of the activities in school. Children will bring the book home to complete the other
activities for parents to participate in the giveaway.

Date of celebration: 5th of August 2021, Thursday

Activity: Sing along, Story of August and Kevin, Commemorative book activities
Attire: Red and white or either colour, which best represents the colours on our Singapore’s flag!
Things to bring: Bring 1 or 2 Yakult Bottles on 30 July 2021, Friday as teachers will be making
shakers with your children.
Home school partnership: Make a national day craft using recycled materials with your child and
bring it to school before 30 July 2021 for us to put it up! The pictures below are some craft ideas
that can be done. Feel free to come up with your own craft!

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions and safety measures, the celebration will be
done in individual classrooms. Looking forward to seeing all of you dressed up and contributing
to beautifying the school with your craft!
