Today is the first class of second semester of the year. New semester is a new chapter. Our
first and only class of the day is Physical Education 12 Fundamentals of Rhythm and Dances. We have a
new professor; he is Mr. Emmanuel R. Golloso we introduce our selves and tackle about the Bicol
University mission, vision and quality policy. He also discussed about the element and different phases
of dance. Our whole discussion is meaningful. We are so active and most of us were cooperating. We
have learnt a lot about this topic and at the same time we are not that pressured because sir Mao is a
kind professor.

Today we tackled about the lesson 2 which is Rhythm. Sir Mao explained the learning objectives of
this lesson and explained what rhythm is. He also tackled the rhythmic activities, rhythmic
fundamentals, note, note patters, time signature, measure, rhythmic pattern, phrasing, accent, tempo,
and intensity. After that, sir Mao interprets the 2/4, ¾, 4/4 notes. He also discussed how whole note,
half note, quarter note, eight note, and sixteen notes are being interpreted. He gave us an assessment
which is to interpret the note patterns.

Today we supposed to have our individual practicum of the lesson 3 which is the
fundamental position but there are some technical problems so sir Mao give this as an assignment
instead. We need to record ourselves doing the fundamental positions and post it to our google
classroom.

Sir Mao posted the 2/4 and ¾ time traditional basic dance step to the google classroom
which we needed to perform and interpret. Our class is in asynchronous type of learning. He also posted
a quiz about our last lesson.
