Compaction for grading. Inspect compactor prior each use, shut off compactor and let it
cool off before refueling. Maintain proper posture when
operating compactor, work up and down slopes not across.
Take breaks from vibrations when using compactor excessively.
Backfilling operation Keep communication with spotter at all times, keep backfill
operations area clear from debris and make sure no one is
standing near excavator when soil is being placed. Keep
excavator within 4ft from excavation to prevent machinery fall.
Uneven grounds/ surface Watch your step at all times. Remove any unstable material
that can cause a slip and trip hazard. Walk do not run on site.

General Housekeeping All materials must be left organized after each shift, all garbage
must be disposed of properly and excavation area must be left
barricaded and safe.

PPE High viz safety vest and personal protective equipment must be
in use at all times for task given.

Dehydration Make sure you stay hydrated throughout the day, do not intake
sugary drinks and drink water continuously. If you feel sick
please report to your supervisor immediately.
