What is the place of Planning?
 Planning precedes great accomplishments in life.

 It is the engine/design room where thoughts are

well nurtured until fruition.

 Planning helps you to place priorities right.

 Placing the most important thing first.

 A wise man who intends to build a tower will sit

down first and plan whether he has sufficient to
resources to complete it. 3
 Planning helps you to be focused right from
the on set. Goals and objectives of any endeavor
are well articulated in the place of planning.

 Planning helps you do carry out appropriate

budgeting of any project you seek to accomplish.

 As a student of Covenant, planning helps you

to set target on how to maximize your stay at
Covenant with great success in mind.

 Planning is born out of deep thoughts and

Meditation. Joshua 1:8 4
When you plan well, you avoid the following:

 Time wastage
 Wasting of Resource
 Distractions
 Failure

You were born to win, but to be the winner you

were born to be, you have to plan to win and
prepare to win. Then and only then can you
expect to win. Zig Ziglar

Why is Preparation Important?
 Preparation is an integral part of starting a
project or course of action. In our different
endeavors, be it at work, in school, or in business;
it is important that we adequately prepare for
things we set out to do. Matt. 25:1-13

 Lifestyle formation and coming up with ability to

prepare adequately for the future

 To understand the place of Capacity Building in

achieving excellence 6
What it means to be prepared?

 To make ready beforehand for a specific

purpose, as for an event or occasion: The
teacher prepared the students for the
exams.

 To put together or make by combining various

elements or ingredients; manufacture or
compound: prepared a meal; prepared the
lecture
7
 Preparation is a life long process that
affects all areas of our life.

 Preparation develops through

experience and learning.

 They are formed and reformed through

time and they impact our personal lives
as well as our professional lives.
8
Champions do not become champions when they
win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and
years they spend preparing for it. The victorious
performance itself is merely the demonstration of
their championship character. T. Alan Armstrong

Every open manifestation is a product of secret

investment. Therefore, you must prepare for success
even if there is no indication of it

9
The place of Pursuits to accomplishing your Goal

 After you have planned and prepared well, the

next is action. James 2:14-18.

 Men of action are men of exploits Deut. 28:1

 You have to take steps in line with set objectives

during you planning and preparation stages

 You fill the gaps and also identify where things

need to be adjusted/corrected
10
 You are happy when you see dream fulfilled:
Sense of fulfillment
 Remember the Physics Law : All things assume a
state of rest until a force is applied.

 Nothing happens to a situation, desire or goal that

you nothing about.

 Actors are winners, and winners are kings.

 Taking visual to reality. Habb. 2:2 write the vision...

 As you embark on God’s plan and purpose for your

life, remember his gifts for you and the talents you
possess. Trade well with it. Rom. 11:29 11
You must be diligent in the place of pursuit 2 Peter 1:10.

You must be consistent. It is the hallmark of champions.

All great men both in scripture and in our contemporary

world had to contend with challenges and strong
oppositions in the pursuit of their vision.

Phil. 3:13-14. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended, but

this one thing I do, FORGETTING those things which are behind, and
REACHING FORTH unto those things which are before me. I press toward
the mark for the prize of high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
