AGENDA: PERMANENTLY RESOLVING ISRAEL- PALESTINE CONFLICT AUTHORS: REPUBLIC OF IRAQ and THE LEBANESE REPUBLIC SPONSORS: RUSSIAN FEDERATION, and THE UNITED MEXICAN STATES SIGNATORIES: ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN, KINGDOM OF JORDAN, REPUBLIC OF NIGER, FRENCH REPUBLIC, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, KINGDOM OF NORWAY, THE REPUBLIC OF KENYA and ST. VINCENT AND THE GRENADINES
The Security Council,
Recognizing the urgency to come up with a permanent solution to the Israel-Palestine Conflict, Deeply regretting the outcomes of previous violence and loss suffered by both the parties, Emphasizing the end of discrimination and start of peace and equality, Noting that both the parties are violating basic human rights, Fully believing that an immediate action to be taken a resolution to come up with, ending the conflict once and for all; 1. Recommends the formation of a negotiating table by representatives of the governments of the two concerned parties (Israel and Palestine), the Arab League, the USA Russia, European Union and the United Nations. Aiming for the following: a. A final Peace Agreement on the terms of two state solution with the borders suggested by the UN itself after the 1967 war. b. Adoption of land swapping method to minimize the no. of people leaving their homes and compensating territory somewhere else. c. The northern parts including the west Bank and cities like Nazareth and Haifa shall be given to Palestine. Cities like Tel Aviv and Jaffa shall be granted to Israel, also all of the southern regions of the country bordering Egypt and Jordan; 2. Encourages the appeal of Palestine for applying as the 194th member of the United Nations. This would help them in the following manner: a. It will give them more credibility and legitimacy in the eyes of international community. b. It would help the Palestinian Leaders in negotiating with Israel and have their say on international matters. (Urges the support of USA in this matter as a membership to the UN requires a vote by the members of the Council and historically USA has vetoed Palestine’s bid for membership; 3. Requests a treaty be made between the Member of the United Nations Security Council and both parties involved in the conflict, stating that the State of Israel will set aside 1,800 square miles of its solid land for Arab Muslims to reside upon, not including land already occupied by Arab Muslims. This land will be defined by the State of Israel and approved by the United Nations and will be transferred to the State of Palestine in under five years. The land the State of Israel designates to the State of Palestine must be a single group, and cannot be located at different areas within the State of Israel; 4. Endorses the recognition of The City of Jerusalem as international land, not owned by any single country and instead managed by the UN, maintained by a paid workforce. The city should never be split and access to its holy places shall be guaranteed to all world religions. (Eliminating all the conflicts upon the holy land); 5. Recommends Formation of another chamber under the parental body of United Nations which has the right to control any conflicted area for the welfare of conflicted area’s citizens. A new chamber would enable a peaceful resolving of issues and avoid any other future disturbances over the matter of land by any rival countries; 6. Calls upon the restoring of violated rights and economic and social recovery of deprived areas, with the rights being: a. Free Movement of People. b. Free Trade c. Protection of minorities and refugees in neighbouring countries. 7. Requests Covid-19 Medical Aid to Palestine to diminish the presently poor conditions by the distribution of: a. Cold Vaccines b. Oxygen Cylinders c. Proper test kit d. Ventilators e. Of well trained corpus of doctors under the united nations should be stationed within the state of Palestine for the relief and recovery of Covid-19 patients; 8. Emphasizes the state of Palestine to sign a grant of guarantee that they after getting their own territory, they would not attack Israel for the crimes Israel has committed in the past and remain in peace.(With the same being done with state of Israel) and the pact being as follows: b. The second pact will be Trade and Economic Pact so that both the countries can start trade between them. As this will help both the countries to increase there there economy and help them in there development;
9. Encourages the releasing of Palestinian Prisoners by the
state of Israel; 10. Recommends both Israel and Palestine should coming forward together to end HAMAS; 11. Encourages teaching the children of both the Israeli & the Palestinian communities the lesson of Equality & Humanity and being non-violent, which could be done by: i) encouraging the children to build friendly relations with the children of other community by their parents; ii) teaching them moral values & values of humanity in schools & educational institutions iii) Teaching the children about harmful consequences of a war; iv)Providing a friendly environment around the children & teaching them the lessons of non-violence .
12.Requests countries to refrain from funding the operations
