COMMUNICATIVE  Students will be able to establish an idea on their own and support it with arguments
OBJECTIVES AND  Students will be able to talk about the advantages and disadvantages of mass media
LINGUISTIC PURPOSE
 Students will be able to defend their ideas in a debate

First, ask students about the social media they use currently. Ask follow up questions about how they
TIMELINE / SESSION feel or why they use those and not others.
MANAGEMENT

Now go to the video on How social media affects society and have students taking notes on it.

After that, ask students questions about the advantages and disadvantages of social media in people,
especially in teenagers.

Then go to the video on Pros and Cons of Social Media and have them taking notes. Next, ask students if
they agree or disagree with the things mentioned and if they have any different opinions.

Now, go to the video on How social networks have changed the world and have students taking notes.
Finally, ask students to select a current topic they have heard about in the news, or on the internet.
Have them preparing a short oral presentation about the cons and pros of the topics they have selected.
