2. Share the result of your SWOT analysis to the TWO SMEs (you choose) and confirm the
answer given by the TWO SMEs, Yes or No, Why?
3. Discuss with the Two SMEs, what are the more vacancies and opportunities for creating

2. 1) S-> This product is very much in demand by Indonesians and foreigners alike. Besides the
price that is not too expensive this product has also been able to steal the attention of alcohol
consumers in Indonesia.

W-> This product is not a drink that can last a long time, because it will change the taste of
the drink itself. the lack of investors willing to invest in this beverage business has made its progress
into the international market very slow. currently there are only a few companies that have
successfully entered the international market.

O-> When compared with international products this product is clearly very
competitive for the international market. Because this is a traditional Balinese drink and Arak
farmers in Bali are still widely found. This is what makes this business opportunity I said has
a very big opportunity.

T-> Internal: The biggest threat that comes from within I think comes from the
development of human settlements. Because to cultivate and get this drink requires a large
area for the growth of the plant itself.
External: In the business world, especially in international business, there will
certainly be competition. in this case, many wine companies are against this product to enter,
because they know in terms of taste and sensation that their drinks can be said to be a little
below. they use various means to close the door to the production of this drink.

2) S -> In my opinion, the strength of this product is in taste and price. It tastes very
good and can be enjoyed by anyone making this product much in demand by local people and
tourists. This allows the sales of this product to increase every month.

W-> This product can not last long, to be consumed.


O-> My personal opinion is that in the future this product can be more developed
in terms of marketing. Besides that this product has a lot of enthusiasm so when viewed from
the point of view of opportunities it is very good.

T-> Many competitors who can make the same product and competitive prices.

3. When I interviewed the two SMEs they said almost the same answer. Examples of
community businesses that can develop and have opportunities in the future include
agriculture, handicrafts such as Balinese statues and carvings, and the last is Balinese
traditional cloth, namely “Endek” cloth, Endek cloth already have a big name in fashion in
national market and international market.
