1. Explain briefly in your own words the Mission and Vision Statement of BISCAST.

The vision and mission of BISCAST is good for all aspects of student’s one’s life. In
building a career, it’s good to have a mission or vision that will help or support you to make a
career decisions whenever an opportunity arises in front of you. In the vision of BISCAST it tells
about the personality that you’re going to expect while studying in the school while in the
mission it talks about how the school will going to produce a student that can change the world
by teaching them their learnings. With a mission and vision statement one can determine if this
golden opportunity is really golden. It might take you away from your ultimate goal. In college, a
school vision and mission statement can help the student keep track of what he/she is there for:
to earn the degree and build a career.

2. Give a short statement explaining each of the University core values. Give one example
scenario for each core value.

BRILLIANCE

This core value will imprint the passion for quality and excellence for helping the
students.

Example: A student will be a brilliance after he graduated in this school.

INTEGRITY

This core value adopts a firm adherence to ethical values. This is achieved through
honesty and truthfulness in every action of the students,

Example: A student must keep him/her promises even if it takes extra effort.
STUDENT-CENTRIC

This core value focused on each student’s needs, abilities, interests, and learning styles,
placing the teacher as a facilitator of learning.

Example: A student must encouraged to direct their own learning and to work with other
students.

COMPETENCE

This core value identified a combination of skills and knowledge that are used to improve
performance. It also referred to the quality of being able to perform a specific role.

Example: A pianist student has the ability to play the piano well.

ADAPTABILITY

This value focuses on the ability of the student to co-exist harmoniously with people
around him. 

Example: We continually changing our lifestyles because our surrounding is changing everytime.

SERVICE-EXCELLENCE

This core value tells that providing excellent service implies helping or serving clients in
order to meet or even exceed their needs.

Example: A teacher must provide excellent learning techniques so that student will understand
the lesson.

TEAMWORK

The interactions of individuals are defined as the interactions of people with a common
goal or purpose.

Example: The student must collaborate with his/her teammates in a school play.
