Okta Enrollment: Login

1 Open an internet browser and navigate to


http://myapps.trueblue.com.
Tip: Save as a favorite on your computer and other devices to
use for unlocking your TrueBlue network account and
accessing TrueBlue single sign-on applications.

2 Enter your TBI network username and


password then click Sign In.

Okta Enrollment: Google Authenticator Setup
Mobile device required

1 Click on your mobile device type. 3 Search for Google Authenticator in your
mobile device’s app store, e.g. App Store,
Google Play. Blackberry: open the web
browser and go to
http://m.google.com/authenticator

4 Download and install Okta Verify.

5 Open Okta Verify on your device.

6 iOS: tap the ‘+’ in the upper right corner


then tap Scan barcode.
Android: Tap Scan a barcode. You might
need to install the Barcode Scanner app;

7 Hold your device up to the computer

number then click Send code.

2 Type the SMS code received on your mobile


phone into the Receive a code via SMS to
authenticate screen on your computer and
click Verify.

You will be returned to the Multifactor


Authentication Set Up screen.

1 On the Voice Authentication screen, type


your phone number then click Call.

2 Answer the call on the number you provided


above and enter the code that is given. Click
Verify.

You will be returned to the Multifactor


Authentication Set Up screen.

Okta Enrollment: Account Unlock and
Password Reset Setup
SETUP self-service ACCOUNT UNLOCK for your TBI account, so you DON’T have to call the Help Desk if
your TBI account is locked. Follow the steps below.
NOTE: If you previously logged into Okta, you have already selected your security image and will not be prompted
again. GO TO PAGE 16

1 Enter a Secondary email address.

3 If you are CONNECTED to the TrueBlue network proceed to page 17.

If you are NOT CONNECTED to the TrueBlue network, you will be challenged by Okta
Multifactor Authentication (MFA) to provide a second piece of information to verify your
identity.
Note: If you have not enrolled in MFA you must do so now, refer to page 3 for complete
instructions.

4 If you set up multiple MFA options, CLICK the arrow and SELECT which option you would like to
use.

5 Follow the instructions based on the MFA option selected, by either typing the code received
via SMS text or voice call, obtained by using the Google Authenticator mobile app, or tapping
‘Approve’ in the Okta Verify mobile app.

Okta SSO: FAQs and Tips
FAQs
Q: What username and password to I use to login to Okta?
A: Use your TrueBlue username and password, the same credentials you use to login to your
computer.

Q: Why is there only one application in my dashboard?


A: Workday was the first application to go-live with single sign-on. More applications will be added
over time.

Q: I have a suggestion for an application that should be added to the single sign-on dashboard. Who
should I talk to?
A: You can submit a ticket to the help desk and it will assigned to the appropriate IT team. Please
include the name of the application owner in the ticket as they will need to approve SSO enablement.

Q: Do I have to use Okta to access my applications?


A: SSO will be implemented so all logins go through Okta, however some applications cannot be
configured this way. Depending on the application you may be able to login directly from the app
website or via Okta. Instructions will be provided for each application as SSO is enabled.

Q: What do I do if I do not see Workday (or another SSO application) on my dashboard?


A: Contact ITSupport@trueblue.com.

Tips
1. Save https://myapps.trueblue.com as a favorite for easy access to your applications.

2. Login to Okta when you start your work day and keep it open in one of your internet browser’s
tabs for easy access to your applications all day.

3. Setup a secondary email address, forgotten password question, forgotten text message, and
forgotten password voice call in Okta settings to use Okta to change your Trublue password or
unlock your account instead of calling the IT Hep Desk.

4. Use Okta to unlock your TrueBlue account instead of contacting the Help Desk. Click on the “Need
help signing in?” link on the Okta login screen then “Unlock account”.
