Part A: READING
I. OBJECTIVE:
By the end of the lesson, students will have:
- reviewed and learnt the vocabulary about the conservation.
- applied appropriate techniques (scanning for details, skimming for gist)
through finding the words in the passage by the definitions, T/F
statements, choose main ideas for each paragraph.
- had awareness of protecting the environment and conserve the natural
resources.
II. TIME: 45’
III. TECHNIQUES: word attack, answering the questions, discussing,
T/F statements, choose main idea.
IV. LEXICAL ITEMS: destroy, eliminate, circulation, hydroelectric
dam, conservation, run-off, polluted.
