1. Learn vocabulary about food for enabling my student to talk about

The class started by showing a presentation of new food vocabulary,
including, dairy products, junk food, drinks, breakfasts and so forth. After
that, I asked Mari to repeat all the word for learn their pronunciation and
memorize them. Then, I explained to her when to use there are and when
to do it with there is. I also taught the meaning of countable and
uncountable nouns and how to build sentences with them and the words

At the end, we did two activities: a listening where she had to look a fridge
picture with products and numbers and she had to match them with the
correct audios, and another task about completing the sentences in each
case with a, an and some taking into account the first word’s letter sound.

When I am teaching, it is important to me to take


into account the opinion of my student. In this
way, both of us can learn new things, the teachers
can learn from their students too and in this

knowledge reason, my idea is to teach to Mariana the topics
that I would have liked to learn when I was little
and I was starting this process. I want to work with
her as a team.
My objective for this class was to continue doing
listening activities because in the last class I
realized that Mariana is so good at listening tasks.
In addition, I chose the food topic because Mari
told me to do it and is one of her favorite’s
themes.
Class analysis For me these kinds of classes about vocabulary are
the most important because they help children to
think and learn about the world. Expanding a
child's knowledge of words provides unlimited.
New words are the main thing for building
sentences and improving in a language learning
process.

think that is a prove of her effort.
I’m so happy to see that she has
the better attitude and she’s

and I realized that she’s talking
more since we know each other
so well because it has been a lot
of time from the first class, when
Mari was too shy.
