Greetings from the Technology and Livelihood Education,


TANZA NATIONAL COMPREHENSIVE HIGH SCHOOL!

Our TLE Subject is a full time semester programme for one year. This is an exploratory and introductory
course which leads to a RAC Servicing National Certificate Level II (NC II). It covers five common
competencies that a Grade 10 Technology and Livelihood Education (TLE) student ought to possess: (1)
using tools, equipment and paraphernalia; (2) performing mensuration and calculation; (3) practicing
Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) procedures; (4) maintaining tools, equipment and paraphernalia;
and (5) interpreting technical drawing and plans.
As part of their study, the students undertake Project work with an objective to expose them to the real
corporate world. This will supplement their class room subject knowledge and help them reinforce their
conceptual understanding of the subjects, while, at the same time provide an opportunity for hands-on
experience of the work.
In this connection, we request you to provide an opportunity to Mr/Ms_________________________,
(I.D. No__________________), of TLE class to do the Interview in your esteemed organization.
The Activity work may relate to any area in the above specializations, the findings of which may be useful
to the company. At the end, the student will submit a Report to TLE department. A copy, if required by
the Company, will also be submitted, for your reference. We also assure you that the student will abide
by all the rules and regulations of the company during the project work. Any information, acquired during
this period, will be used strictly for academic purposes and will be kept confidential.
