THE SHUTTERBUGS CLUB

PROJECT PROPOSAL
WORLD PHOTOGRAPHY DAY

I. Background

Every August 19, people around the globe celebrate the World Photography Day, a day to
pay homage to the history of photography, celebrate the present, and leave a positive trail for the
future. Being the official photography club of the school, The Shutterbugs Club would like to be
part of this annual celebration together with the students who are interested in photography.

II. Benefits

This one-day series of events will help the following:

a. Students will have meaningful learning experience on this day and be inspired to be
more exposed in the field of photography.
b. Teachers can share their knowledge and express their thoughts about photography.
c. School administrators will be able to realize the importance of photography,
especially when it comes to developing students and having proper documentation in
the school.
d. Parents will be aware of their children’s interest when it comes to photography.

III. Procedure

1. TSC officers will meet and conduct proper planning for the proper execution of
the events. Committees will be created for their designated tasks.
2. They will coordinate and seek approval from the stakeholders of the school
through proper communication.
3. There will be three events that will be held on that day: Photo Booth session,
Photo Exhibit, and Photography Mini-Seminar.

VI. Conclusion

With this project, The Shutterbugs Club will contribute to the school by pushing the
students to be creative through exposing them in the field of photography. This will also be a
good training for the officers to hone their leadership skills, especially in conducting events.
