VII. Background or Rationale:
The Naval National High School will conduct its annual celebration of the Science
Month for the school year 2018 – 2019. The said activity will help promote awareness
among students and teachers alike of the significance and influence brought about by
Science in the daily lives of the people. The conduct of the said activity will also foster
sportsmanship, industriousness, camaraderie and ingenuity among the students of
Naval National High School.

VIII. General Objective/s:

This proposal aims to:
1. Observe a month-long celebration of “Science Month” highlighted with
several activities;
2. Foster sportsmanship, industriousness, camaraderie and ingenuity among
students;
3. Induction of duly elected Science Club Members; and
4. Conduct a Teachers’ Category Quiz Bee.
IX. Methodologies/ Materials/ Equipment Needed:
 Program, Canon Paper, Sound System, Computer, Printer, Pins,
Thumbtacks, Crowns, Ribbons, Styrofoam, Glue, Cartolina

XII. Program Description

A month-long Science Month celebration with its culmination on September 25,
2018 at Naval National High School, Brgy. Larrazabal, Naval, Biliran.

XIII. Expected Outcome:

After the activity, it is expected that:
 1. sportsmanship, industriousness, camaraderie and ingenuity will be
fostered among students;
2. duly elected Science Club Members will be inducted; and
3. Science club funds will be generated from the G. at Bb. Kalikasan
Popularity Contest.

XIV. Monitoring and Evaluation:

The conduct of the activity will be monitored and evaluated by the School
Principal, Asst. School Head, and the school’s M&E Team.
