4. Objectives:
a. Define constructivism and learner-centered classroom philosophy and principles;
b. Identify emerging pedagogies that the teachers will implement as facilitators of learning;
c. Know how to evaluate learning outcomes at the diagnostic, formative and summative stages;
d. Demonstrate the development of critical thinking using the revised Bloom’s Taxonomy;
e. Craft appropriate instructional materials and workbooks for every subject areas taught;
f. Increase the performance level of the pupils through use of appropriate instructional materials;
g. Improve teachers’ performance and knowledge; and
h. Assist teachers think, create/develop/construct appropriate instructional materials.

material plays a vital role to improve pupils’
knowledge, abilities, and skills, and to monitor their
assimilation of information and competencies to
contribute to their overall development and
upbringing.
The school head, as the instructional leader of the
school believed that the teaching skills of Dagang
Elementary Teachers would be enhanced and the
delivery of quality instruction inside the classroom
would be improved and transformational. In addition,
paradigm shift in teaching would also realized after the
training program.

8. Expected Output:

At the end of the 5-day INSET, the participants were able to:
a. Constructivist learner-centered classroom manager and facilitator;
b. Facilitator of HOTS and critical thinking among learners;
c. Change agent;
d. Crafted appropriate instructional materials and workbooks for every subject areas taught;
e. Increased the performance level of the pupils through use of appropriate instructional
materials;
f. Improved teachers’ performance and knowledge.
