Lesson aims : by the end of the lesson students will be able to:
- to link the theme of the module to a subject on their school science curriculum
- contextualise the language they have learnt by relating it to their personal frame of reference
- understand the new vocabulary introduced in the lesson
- explain in their own words how the human ear works
- explain in their own words how the sound enters our ear
Objectives
A.Cognitive objectives:
a) to consolidate and improve vocabulary,
b) to read and listen for specific information,
c) to relate to a subject in their curriculum using English
B.Affective objectives:
a) to create a warm atmosphere,
b) to help students enjoy speaking English.

Anticipated language problems: Students may have difficulty in understanding the scientific
information contained in the lesson or the specialized vocabulary used in the text.
Students could become a bit noisy when working in pairs/groups;. In some cases, pupils may not
understand the task given by the teacher;
