The Impact of The Covid Pandemic 19

Assalamualaikum wr.wb. My name is Alifia Naza Andika, number absen five,

from class 12 sains 4. Good morning my teacher and friends of class 12 sains 4.
I will be doing a speech regarding about the hot topic of the year, The Covid-19
Pandemic. So, The COVID-19 pandemic, also known as the coronavirus
pandemic, is an ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19)
caused by severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2).
The covid 19 pandemic has had many impacts on countries in almost all parts
of the world. And this impact does not only affect one or two sector, but
almost all sector. Such as in the fields of economy, socio, culture and
education.
In the economic sector, the impact of the Covid 19 pandemic is quite large.
Preventing the spread of the virus by implementing various policies such as
quarantine, social distancing, lockdowns, and large-scale social restrictions
affecting and disrupting economic activities in various countries. The IMF
(International Monetary Found) noted that the Covid-19 pandemic has caused
global economic losses. As in Indonesia itself, the impact of the Covid-19
pandemic has had a major impact on the domestic economy. Lots of
companies have experienced a decline in turnover and have even gone
bankrupt so that many employees have been laid off or laid off.
in the field of social, among which is the emergence of suspicion and loss of
trust in those around us or who we just know. For example, when we buy food,
we will definitely find out whether it is clean or not. Whether there is a waiter
who has contact with someone who has the virus or not, is there an officer or
waiter who washes their hands when processing the food we ordered or not,
so that doubts arise. When we talk or meet in the neighborhood with the local
community, we are reluctant to shake hands, even though they are parents, as
we teach our children to always respect their elders. However, the current
situation requires us to avoid shaking hands and must maintain a distance of
approximately 2 meters if we want to talk to other people, especially people
we do not know. To comply with the appeal in a meeting or meeting requires
us to wear a mask, but on the other hand there are also those who do not use
a mask, even coughing carelessly, this certainly raises suspicion, we sometimes
quickly avoid it.
In the cultural sector, we know that Muslims in the world do not unless
Indonesia will welcome the coming of the moon holy Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr.
Several weeks in the future we will all face the fasting month where
Indonesian people have traditions on the moon such as fasting, buying food
iftar, drum around at dawn, and which is very mandatory for the nomads in the
capital, namely returning home village. Home coming is a culture as well as
being one of the moments to gather with family. With this Covid-19 pandemic,
everyone culture that is practiced during the month of Ramadan change. let
alone going home, leaving the house we still warn. It even looks like a mosque
will be quiet to perform tarwih prayer activities. This sudden change is a factor
family anxiety about not being able to get together with especially with the
shadow of Covid-19.

And the last, the impact on the education sector, The COVID-19 pandemic has
affected educational systems worldwide, leading to the near-total closures of
schools, universities and colleges. Most governments decided to temporarily
close educational institutions in an attempt to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
In response to school closures, UNESCO recommended the use of distance
learning programs and open educational applications and platforms that
schools and teachers can use to reach learners remotely. And colleges have
also gone to great lengths to find creative solutions for teaching students
online, in person but socially distant, or in mixed formats. However, from this
policy there are also many parties who are not ready to carry out learning via
distance or what is known as online. Many people are apparently unable to
participate in distance learning activities due to the limited ability of the
community, many of whom do not have the tools to support distance learning.
And the government made several efforts to overcome these problems, such
as providing assistance in the form of free internet quotas for students.
I think that is all my speech. I hope that all of us will always be given health and
avoid this Covid 19 virus. I apologise for all my wrong words. Thank you very
much for your attention. Wassalamu’alaikum Wr. Wb.
