Subject: [Action Required] Decision need to be made to address shortage of delivery

drivers

Hello! How’s everyone doing? I hope you are all having a nice and productive week.

My name is Alejandro and as you may already know I’m the Project Manager for the Plant
Pals project here at Office Green.

I’m reaching out to you because an issue has arisen regarding a shortage of delivery
drivers. Due to this shortage, we will not be able to deliver all orders on time. As of today,
we have only delivered 80% of the plants successfully. Because of that, customer
satisfaction has suffered and some customers have already canceled their subscription.

If we fail to reach at least 90% of deliveries we would be sending the next batch out late and
this delay could create even more issues such as setting back the project timeline, risking
product quality, and hurting revenue.

Some ideas that come to mind in order to address this issue are hiring temporary drivers
with an extra cost, give away 1 free month of subscription to affected customers, and
leasing additional trucks to increase the delivery capacity. I would greatly appreciate if we
could meet as soon as possible to discuss these ideas and come up with an effective
solution.
