Appointing of business partner

SCA Partners assist RGN FOOD PRIVATE LIMITED (Exporter) interested in appointing
business partners / distributors, in African countries (Kenya, Namibia, Rwanda, Tanzania,
and Ghana).

Step1: Market Selection Methodology


Objective: Selection of the 4 new export markets where the company is more competitive
to do business.
Scope: Choice of the 4 export markets where the company has greater competitiveness
according to weighted criteria related to foreign trade, economic aspects and those
related to the operating sector of each company.
Deliverables: Report with the selection of 4 new export markets to be addressed and the
explanation of why they have been selected.
Step 2: Contact List
Objective: Identify importers, distributors or other profiles of potential business partner in
the 4 markets that be selected in the step before.
Scope: Includes
1. Searching and creation of database of potential channel partners closely matching
given profile approx. 20-25 potential partners.
2. The List will report, on average, a minimum of 20 (twenty) VALIDATED importing /
distributing companies or business partners (existing and active) in the requested
markets.
Deliverables: The database should include minimum inputs like Company Name, City,
Contact number of decision maker, list of existing product lines, approx. annual turnover
and other as relevant for client to decide on most suitable partner. Contains the name of
the company, country and website so the exporter can validate the interest of having a
meeting.

Step3 Virtual meeting with Business partner


Objective: Generate virtual with potential business partners, validated by the exporter in
the step before interested in the company's products, in markets of opportunity selected
in step 2.
Scope:
Coordination of between 5 (five) and 10 (ten) confirmed virtual appointments with
potential buyers, importers, distributors and / or partners (validated before by the
exporter) interested in the products that the company sells, in the defined target markets.
The appointments will be made through different platforms (Zoom, Skype, WhatsApp,
others), the one selected by the buyer.
Five days before the meeting dates, an agenda with the scheduled meetings is delivered,
but before this, the SCA-Partners agree with the company the week in which the meetings
will be held so that it can have an agenda available.
Deliverables: Business Agenda with between 5 (five) and 10(Ten) appointments with
confirmed business partners interesting in the company products.
Our Guarantee
Our strict selection procedure enables us to ensure that all the distributors we identify to
you fulfil all of these criteria:
 The distributors sell in the channels that you specify.
 All distributors will have received full information about your company, products
or services and distributor proposal.
 The distributor will have expressed interest in the proposal by responding
positively to our offer.
 Finding at least 2-3 Interested & suitable distributors.

Budget & Timeline


The total cost of the program per country is USD 2550.-(9-12 weeks)
The costs are divided as follows:
 Business partners list to validate: USD 950. (2-4 weeks) – (If this list must be
changed or modified, there is NO additional cost)
 Business Meetings (between 5 and 10 meetings): USD 1600(6-8 weeks)
 Active Field visit to agreeable partner to verify details (due diligence) and give
honest feedback to client. ( No. of days 3-8, per day cost) : USD 75 ( Upon
request)(2-4weeks)

The term of payment is made:


Our fees for appointing distributors services amount to USD $2550 and will be paid in
three installments as follows; 1000 USD signing amount before starting the project;
US$550 once we submit 15 to 20 detailed company profiles for exporters’ evaluation and
approval and last part of 1000 USD once we schedule at least 5 to 6 meetings (Mostly
Video Call) subject to quality of meeting scheduled.
Limitations of the Service
If subsequent negotiations between you and the distributors you fail for any reason not
related to our filtering as described in the previous paragraph our company will not bear
responsibility and does not offer any compensation. We do not guarantee that all
validated distributors(15-20) will result in signing of distributor agreements, nor do we
have control over the actions or decisions of the validated distributors.
Additional Information

 Post appointing business partners we offer our assistance or expert advice; if you
are facing issues for doing business with appointed partners.
 Exporters will provide their company presentation, product detail and their
business terms and conditions before agreeing and starting the project.
 Exporters who wants to replicate the same model in other African countries,
 SCA-Partners will act as a long term expert partner for exporter’s business
establishment in Africa markets.
 SCA Partners will check and confirm, if there is any regulatory compliance,
certification or any specific approval would be needed before accepting the project
Any possible disputes will be tried by the parties in a friendly manner; the dispute
will be resolved by the court of the contracting parties.
