GEC 18- Ethics

Moral
 Mae discovered that her best friend’s husband is cheating. She must decide whether to
tell her friend or keep it a secret, but she's hesitating at first to tell to her best friend about
the situation because she is afraid that it might hurt the feelings of her best friend. But
later on she realized that she should tell the truth to her best friend because they promised
to not keep secrets to each other and she believe that adultery is wrong.

 Aj was hungry so he go to canteen and pay a 100 peso bill for just five pesos amount of
biscuit. The cashier, Ms. Liona was very old and has poor eyesight, that she mistakenly
thought the 50 peso bill as 20 pesos only, and give Aj an excess change. On his way, Aj
noticed that the change for his 100 peso bill is too much and his friend told him to just
keep the excess money but, Aj knew that it’s not the right thing to do that’s why he go
back to the canteen and return the excess money voluntarily.

 When Mateo’s mom was murdered, his brother told him that they should take avenge of
their mother, by killing the culprit buut Mateo stopped his brother and told him to not get
their hands got dirt with blood and told his brother that they should let the authorities and
the Law give the justice to their mom’s death.

Immoral
 Emilia is the governor of Poblacion Argente, she is a corrupt and abusive politician. She
uses the money of her citizens for her luxury lifestyle. She is powerful politician that
everyone on the Argenta afraid of her, except for Julio an honest and brave public
attorney. Julio condemned the wrong doings of Emilia and file a report against Emilia.
Out of anger Emilia hired a hit man to kill Julio and all the people that will go against
her.

 Adrian is a married man with a 3 children. Adrian was left to take care of the children
while his wife is working, miles away from their home. Adrian hated his wife for leaving
the children to him, instead of staying at home and give his need as a man. Out of
loneliness and anger he go to a night club every weekend and go with different girls to
engage in sexual intercourse.

 Ben got fired in his work because he was caught sleeping during his duty. He doesn’t
have any money to sustain his family, that’s why he find new and easiest way to get
money. Every night Ben and his friend Ted, ride a motorcycle and snatch the bag or
cellphone of every streetwalker and sometimes they robbed a shop.
Amoral
 Mr. Lee has a brain tumor and undergo a brain surgery. After a month he has not
recovered yet and is experiencing seizures and delusional sometimes. One time his
daughter visit her at the hospital, Mr. Lee didn't recognize her daughter and thought it
was a stranger that is trying to kill him. Out of nervousness he strangled the neck of his
daughter until her daughter loss consciousness. Her daughter survived the attacked and
did not sue him. The daughter understand his situation that he is not on right state of mind
on that time.

 Alden is under influence of alcohol but still insisted to drive a car. On his way home, he
suddenly fell asleep and got out of control of the wheel. While his car is approaching a
pedestrian lane he didn’t notice a group of students crossing the street and run over the
poor students. One student died on the incident.

 Kevin was diagnosed of kleptomania which the recurrent inability to resist urges to steal
items. Kleptomania is a serious mental disorder that he couldn’t stop of stealing items.
Sometimes he go to a shop and mall and got into big trouble when he was caught. People
have been avoiding him because of this disorder.
