LESSON 2.1: Economic Globalization and Global Trade
Learning Activity 2.1: Going International

General Instructions:
1. Accomplish the task by following the instructions provided in the next page.

2. This activity could be accomplish by pair.

3. Upon completing the activity, convert your file into a PDF with this file name:
ScSc 13n, LA 2.1, Program, Year, & Section, Surname. (e.g. ScSc 13n LA 2.1
BSA 1A Semeniano)

4. Strictly follow instruction number 2.

5. Output could also be submitted as an image. You can take a picture or


screenshot of your output. Just follow the same file name format provided in
number 2 upon submission.

6. Upload and submit you output on the Learning Activity 2.1 page in VSUEE.

7. If output is accomplished by pair, the students must submit separately the


same output to their respective moodle account.

8. Do not forget to click the ‘submission’ button in the VSUEE once you’re ready
to submit your output.

Learning Activity 2.1: Going International
Instructions/Guidelines:

1. This output could be accomplished by pair. Look for a partner to work with in
accomplishing your output. Or, if you want to work on this alone, you can also
do so.
2. Choose one final product from the following category:
a. Coffee
b. Car
c. Laptop
d. Mobile Phone
e. Wristwatch
f. Shoes
g. Clothes (from a branded clothing line)
h. Appliances
Example: Phone – OPPO A3s
3. Identify the origin country of the product being sold in the Philippines.
4. List down the main raw materials used in manufacturing the product. (At least
five). The identify the corresponding country from which these raw materials
are manufactured.
Example: The phone was made in China but one of its materials, say,
the screen was manufactured from the Philippines and the plastic used for
the casing came from US.
5. Cite the kinds of technology that made the creation of the product possible.
6. Aside form the Philippines, list the other countries from where the product is
being sold.
7. Your output must contain the following information:

 Student 2 Name (if accomplished with a partner):
 Program, Year, & Section:
8. If you work on this output by pair, submit independently or separately the
same output in the VSUEE page.
9. If you have questions, feel free to ask your course instructor.
