Job Title: Technical Director

Major Responsibilities:

 Responsible for conducting its own area’s risk opportunity study as ISO 9001:2015 & 14001:2015.
 Responsible for all multidiscipline engineering activities of a project including
planning, execution and closeout as follows:
 Overall control of engineering activities.
 Establishment and maintenance of engineering procedures.
 Coordination of engineering activities between AL JAZEEL and Client.
 Coordination of engineering activities between project team.
 Issuance of technical documents.
 Monitoring of engineering schedule.
 Initiation of design review.

Job Title: QHSE Coordinator

Major Responsibilities:
 Responsible for all overall establishment, implementation, maintenance and of Quality, Health, Safety and
Environmental Management System i.e. (QMS, EMS & OH&SMS)
 To define context of the organization with the help of GM.
 Conducting & reviewing risk and opportunity study for ISO system & company processes as well.
 To ensure the effective implementation of all QMS and HSE Management System requirements as per
company’s QMS and HSE Policies & Procedures/applicable laws/buyers’ Codes of Conduct and/or any
other internationally acknowledged standards like ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015 and OHSAS
18001:2007 in their respective departments/areas.
 To ensure that all sale, purchase, storage, handling, treatment, process and disposal activities of all
materials and/or waste are in compliance with HSE Management System requirements respectively.
 To ensure that effective, legible, transparent and traceable QMS and HSE Management System
documentation structure is in place
 To communicate all the QMS and HSE Management System requirements to all the employees of all
respective departments/areas at all appropriate levels
 To ensure that all QMS and HSE Management System requirements are being consistently fulfilled in all
respective departments/areas.
 To highlight and address any of incident/accident/hazard/non-conformance occurred in accordance with
HSE Management System requirements in all respective departments/areas.
 To participate in the regular semi-annual Internal System (QMS and HSE Management System) Audits in
order to measure and monitor the compliance to HSE Management System requirements in all respective
departments/areas.
 To resolve all the product non-conformities and system non-conformances highlighted (on continuing
monitoring activities) in all respective departments/areas in accordance with HSE Management System
requirements.
 To make sure that all stakeholders (workers, sub-contractors and visitors) comply with all QMS and HSE
Management System requirements.
 To consider, address and resolve all concerns and issues of external interested parties
 To regularly review and evaluate the performance of QMS and HSE Management System related
activities and progress towards achievement of QMS and HSE Objectives in Management Review
Meetings.
 To be accountable for improper HSE Planning, Control, Auditing and scheduling that may lead to
deviation from HSE Policy and procedures, standard specifications etc.

Job Title: Projects Manager

Major Responsibilities:

 Establishment of project strategy and execution procedures.


 Formulation of project organization.
 Final decision on corrective actions for non-conformance.
 Ensuring that project policies are effectively implemented and project procedures adhered to.
 Careful study of contract agreement for all the technical, commercial and legal issues identifies the
risks involved and mitigates and administers them. He will consult for any assistance on
contractual matters. If necessary, PM will get additional information or clarification from Client
 Submit all deliverables (documents) as per agreed time with the Company.
 Prepare project budget with the help of Financial director,
 Project site facilities, organization chart and mobilization / construction schedules. In case a
change in cost is expected due to change in the execution philosophy, budget shall be reviewed
and then Head will approves the budget.
 Close coordination with project team for in time arrangements of resources.
 Timely arrangement of resources.
 Keep in close touch with the customer for any exposition and change / waivers required for the
project.
 Close coordination with Subcontractors and Vendors for timely completion / delivery as per project
specifications.
 Responsible for the implementation of ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 in all
departmetns.

 Education / Qualification: Preferably Mechanical Engineer with 10 years experience in the field

Job Title: QC Manager

Major Responsibilities:

 Preparation and issuance of Project Quality Plan.


 Contact and communication with Quality Assurance / control staff & client on Quality matters.
 Planning and execution of QA/QC inspections & audits.
 Review of corrective actions for non-conformance and subsequent follow up.
 Implementation of Quality Assurance indoctrination and training.
 Preparation & implementation of Project QC procedures.
 Planning, initiation and supervision of QC activities for equipment and materials.
 General Control of Vendors, Subcontractors and third party inspection agencies regarding
inspection.
 Review and approval of Vendors and Subcontractors QC documents.
 Clarification of the non-conformance and determination of non-conformance.
 Review of data reports and inspection records.
 Establish process control points and measure inspection progress as per activities schedule.
Monitor and control activities having critical success factor for quality of deliverables. Executes his
functional responsibilities within the budgetary provisions and in case of any deviation due to any
reason get it raised through Site Manager.
 Responsible for the overall implementation of the Project Quality Plan at Project site through a
well-managed team of activity Inspectors.
 Responsible for ensuring that, construction methods are in line with QC Plans and are well
understood by concerned supervisors, places emphasis and concentration on quality cost
reduction opportunities.
 Responsible for providing assistance to the project site for all incoming material inspections.
 Responsible for ensuring that controlled copies of all relevant codes and/or specifications are
available at project site.
 Ensuring that he and other functionaries, in accordance with Master Lists of Documents, hold only
current documents.
 Responsible for maintaining instrument surveillance record for accuracy and calibration by
ensuring all IMTE's under use have valid calibrated dates. Ensures proper handling/maintenance
of proper IMTE's record by Stores. Performing internal audits and spot checks.
 Responsible for establishment and control of Laboratory at site and test witness / coordinate in
case of 3rd party involvement.
 Responsible for ensuring that all critical activities like, NDT, Post Weld heat treatment and Hydro-
testing is handled by execution according to the procedure and Quality Inspection Plan.

Job Title: Welding Inspector

Reporting To: QA/QC Manager

Reporting Staff: QC Supervisors

 Ensure compliance of quality requirement as per the Company pipeline & piping specifications,
procedures, method statements and ITP.
 Ensure no welders shall work on any phase of the pipeline & Piping without conducting the WQT
and having valid qualified I.D card.
 Monitoring the welding parameters during welds production as per WPSs.
 Responsible for overall control of welding at site and ensure all the welders are understand
&implement the Approved welding procedures specification.
 Updated WPS and welder’s qualification test register.
 Generate daily welding inspection reports and submitting NDT Request for the joints which
accepted visually.
 Explain to welding foreman and all other persons involved in welding of the detailed operations to
be done during various phases of activity.

 Inspect the Painting material , and match it with PDS.


 Check the calibration Certificate for inspection tools if its valid or not.
 Check the weather condition as per PDS.
 Check the salt contamination before apply the painting.
 Measure the surfuce profile for base metal before starting in painting.
 Measure the WFT for Painting.
 Measure the DFT for Painting .
 Conduct the adhesion Test .
 Comminicate with Client Painting Inspector.

Job Title: HSE Manager

Reporting To: GM & Projects Manager

Reporting Staff: HSE Staff

Major Responsibilities:

 Carries out risk analyses for all vital operations taking place at site. Ensures that HSE procedures
and practices are implemented with no compromise. Analyses accidents and injuries occurring
most often at the site and recommends remedial measures to achieve HSE goals.
 Conducts inspection of the work site, maintains inspections reports and brings out uncontrollable
non-compliance situations to the notice of the site management.
 Visits the site of an accident immediately to critically view circumstances and evidence and
conducts investigations to ensure avoidance of reoccurrence.
 Maintains supply of essential safety items.
 Ensures availability of personal protective equipment (PPEs) and other equipment for fire-fighting
and other hazardous operations. Coordinates and facilitate emergency preparedness for handling
serious catastrophes at site.
 Communicates all aspects of HSE program at site to Projects Manager at head office for
compilation so that company-wide statistics and data is available for all the Company’s operating
areas.
 Coordinates HSE activities with customer and sub-contractor, through their safety co-ordinator /
representative.
 Ensures that all environmental issues are given due importance that they deserve. Makes all out
effort to control all kinds of pollution viz smoke, dust, foul smell, toxic fumes and noise etc.
Controls open burning of materials i.e. construction debris or non-hazardous trash. Shall see to it
that all excavations, stockpiles, embankments, haul roads, access roads, waste areas, borrow
areas and other work areas are well maintained to prevent kicking up of the dust that would cause
a hazard or nuisance; where necessary, ensures that water sprinkling, use of dust mask and other
suitable measures are adopted.
 Ensures that all those at site are working in a healthy environment have a balanced diet, hygienic
living conditions and remain in good health; in this regard.
 Gets drinking water tested from recognised laboratory from time to time and ensures that the
drinking water in use is as per health standards.
 Coordinates with I/C Site and client to ensures that disposal of effluents (liquid industrial wastes),
solid wastes, including plastic bags, and hazardous materials, is done as per project’s HSE
procedures.
 Helps I/C Site in the safe handling of chemicals and gases, to avoid any hazard. Ensures that
MSDS (Material Safety Data Sheets) are available at site for all materials in use.
 Makes it a regular feature of his audit to check ignition sources and smoking regulators from safety
point of view.

 Ensures regulated flow of traffic at site and sees to it that all vehicles in use are in roadworthy
condition and are equipped with safety belts and fire extinguishers etc. Similarly, wherever
required, ensures that construction machinery, particularly in the case of infrastructure work, is
equipped with reverse horns.
 Responsible to select emergency assembly point(s) and convey the same to all.
 Conducts orientation programs for new employees based on general site hazards. Conducts
special safety talks for supervisors during weekly meetings and monitors their effectiveness. Also
conducts training of craftsmen, welders and fabricators etc through handouts, oral communication,
suiting the project site, to reduce risks involved at their workplaces.
 Publicises and coordinates safety incentive and recognition programs and arrange awards and
ceremonies.
 Assists in setting up and maintaining proper standard of good housekeeping.

 Responsible for the implentation of ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015 & OHSAS 18001:2007 in his
department.

Job Title: QC Inspector

Major Responsibilities:

 Capable of project progress measurement at any given time and able to take remedial measures
whenever necessary in order to ‘pull’ the project back on schedule.
 Ensures development of Human & material resources in an optimum fashion to achieve a
productivity level equal to or better than the forecaster. Holds regular meetings with front line
supervisors to ensure achievement of targets. Issues regular reports to the Site Manager regarding
site progress and highlights all bottlenecks and anticipated problems along with necessary
remedial notions.
 Deals with the Clients in a manner that enhances their trust in the Company.
 Advises the Site Manager on the best option for award of Subcontracts.
 Ensures good working relationships amongst all the discipline involved in the Project and strives to
maintain good moral of the site team.
 Ensures implementation of work schedules.
 Implements corrective measures for resource development to make better than forecasted
progress of work.
 Ensures backup of timely availability and mobilization of manpower, equipment & plants.
 Exercises good material management at site and controls the use of construction consumables
within specified norms.
 Establishes a minimum level essential consumable material and ensures uninterrupted work at
site.
 Ensures execution of construction site procedures.
 Ensures that QA/QC Procedures are implemented meticulously. Will be responsible for the quality
of work.
 Assist in hiring and training of qualified manpower.
 Ensures implementation of HSE procedures and practices.

progress, payable and receivable.

 Responsible for making the initial plan as well as continuous revision if necessary of the original
plan with the help on the Incharge Planning and Scheduling to meet better project schedule.
 Ensures backup of timely availability and mobilization of manpower, equipment and plants as per
the budgeted figure/ deployment.
 Ensures execution of the project in the most efficient and safe manner by following the approved
construction procedures.
 Keep office informed about the progress and cost to date, forecast and completed.
 Setting up a proper establishment at site i.e. placement of competent personnel well versed with
the company system and control procedures.
 Ensure that qualified manpower hired or trained.
 Handles Customer Complaints on priority and respond in a manner to maintain desired level of
comfort of the client.
 Owns company core and operating values and ensure their implementation.

Job Title: Site Manager

Reporting Staff: Site Engineers

Duties and Responsibilities:

 Coordinates with Site Engineer for Project Work Schedules for anticipation of
resource requirements and its deployment, and readiness of Work Areas.
 Ensure constructability of work site areas and initiate timely action in clearing
identified constraints/restraints that may create disruption to work execution.
 Ensure availability of latest issue of Approved for Construction Drawings and
Specifications required for Work Execution covering each phases i.e. Civil
Mechanical & Electrical in collaboration with Project Site Engineering Unit.
 Initiate Technical Queries (TQs) for any encountered conflicts on drawings and
specifications, lack of detailed design drawings, violations of codes provisions,
etc.
 Coordinates with Project Site HSE Unit and QA/QC Unit for required safety and
Quality Control intervention/inspection on established HOLD points activities of
the Project for each Work Phase.
 Ensure complete constructions of each Work activities.
 Hold regular site meetings with Work Superintendents/Supervisors representing
each Work Discipline (Civil/Structural, Mechanical, Electrical) as part of an
effective work planning and control.
 Manage actively and timely clear of punch list items during completion stage of
the Project prior to Client issuance of Completion Certificates.

Job Functions:

 Document controller responsible to receive documents / drawings form project manager


to check that it is according to the transmittal and in case of discrepancy with the
transmittal the same is clarified with the Project Manager.

 Document controller ensures that they enter all records through document controller
regarding receipt of drawings into document control system/change control system.
 Responsible for the issuance of Copies of drawings are issued to different section(s) at
site after insurance from quality department as per project requirements.

 In case revision of drawings is received Document controller ensures that all


superseded drawings are entered into document retrieval process as a result it is
withdraw immediately from site / relevant section (s) and are marked as “Superseded”.
Document controller then again issues drawings to concerned section(s) after change.
 Document controller is responsible for the receiving of Drawings / Documents from
Document controller who after completing necessary procedure would distribute copies
as per project requirements.
 Document controller prepares Test packs as per requirements of planning department
and layout plans.
 Document controller is responsible for gathering necessary data form as build drawings
and prepares as build drawings.

Job Functions:

 Machinery supervisors is responsible for overseeing site machinery


 The maintenance and operation of machinery, typically at site.
 Overseeing construction crews, ensuring that proper maintenance is performed on
machinery
 Need to maintain proper communications liaison between site staff and management
 Responsible for inspecting, testing and adjusting machinery, as well as scheduling workers,
confirming delivery of equipment and working to achieve project targets.
 Supervisors also must ensure that the workplace is up to standards and provide any safety
training to employees as necessary.
 Even though supervisors is nominally in charge of maintaining the machinery at site / workshop
 Responsible for managing the staff who handles the machines, so prospective equipment
supervisors need to know how to dictate workflows and set priorities.
 Responsible for operating his assigned machine / equipment.
 Operator should specially licensed and trained individuals who work on heavy equipment at site.
 Equipment operators make sure that their machines are in proper working order and that all
systems are working correctly.
 They do basic upkeep and repairs and tell supervisors about any malfunctions.
 When in operation, equipment operators communicate with other workers through hand or audio
signals to operate the machines safely.

Job Title: Pipefitter

Reporting To: Supervisor

Job Functions:

 Layout, assemble, install and maintain pipe systems, pipe supports and related hydraulic
and pneumatic equipment for steam, hot water, heating, cooling, lubricating, sprinkling.
 Pipe fitter confidently selects the type and size of pipe according to job specifications.
 Inspection of the work site is routine to identify obstructions and ascertain the holes will
not cause structural weakness.
 Plans the sequence of installation to avoid obstructions and the activities of other
construction workers.
 Skillfully cuts pipe using hacksaws, pipe cutter, hammer, chisel, cutting torch and pipe
cutting machine.
 Assembles and installs variety of metal pipe and pipe fittings.
 Steel Piping is joined by means of welding or threading
 Secure the pipes to structures with clamps, brackets and hangers with a variety of hand
tools.
