Massive exploitation has resulted from the enormous demand for fossil fuels. The stock will
deplete swiftly due to its nonrenewable sources. As a result, research into renewable energy sources
is required.
Manure contains carbohydrates, mainly cellulose and fiber, as well as protein and fat. Bio-
briquette is a solid fuel generated from organic, industrial, and municipal waste. Because it requires
simple technology and equipment compared to fossil fuels, this solid fuel can be a low-cost
alternative fuel.
In this study, Cow Dung Bio-briquettes were prepared as feed in a gasification stove by
varying the size of cow dung powder and the pressure level of the hydraulic press. In this
investigation, no binder or other chemicals were employed. The quality of the manufactured Cow
Dung Bio-briquettes was then studied and compared to the bio-briquette quality standard of Standard
Nasional Indonesia (SNI) in terms of physical attributes, chemical content (proximate analysis), and
calorific heating value.

Cow dung is a cheap and readily available bioresource on our planet, as it is an excreta of
livestock animal waste. Traditionally, cow manure has been used as a fertilizer, soil amendment,
energy source, and even construction material. Livestock manure contains many valuable and
essential, recyclable materials, including nutrients, organic matter, solid wastes, energy, and fiber.
The main idea of this study is to increase the potential and beneficial uses of livestock wastes
such as cow dung as a cheaper and environment-friendly BBQ briquette ( Briqmure) as an
alternative household fuel energy. Briqmure was made from cow manure, which was considered
livestock waste, as well as agricultural waste. Briqmure's manufacturing method and process were
based on both standard and improvised procedures. Cow dung was collected, combined with water,
and then heated. To dry, the cow manure mixture was poured into briquette molds.

Biomass briquettes have been made as an alternative energy source from cow dung waste.
Molasses and starch were used as binder material with a carbonization temperature of 400 °C for 2
hours. The work aims to produce biomass briquettes with the best heating value based on analysis of
composition effect and type of binder on the briquette with calorific value. The heat test results
showed that briquettes with 10% sugar cane binding content produced the highest calorific value of
3907.5 calories/gram. Sugar cane drops become the better binder than starch in biomass briquettes
production.

The goal of this research is to figure out what role and potential energy in cow dung has in
improving the livelihoods of the people who live in the area. Additionally, the concentrations of
methane and carbon dioxide in biogas produced from cow dung must be determined.
The findings of this study on the creation of flammable biogas from cow dung revealed that
anaerobic digestion can produce flammable biogas from cow manure.
