>Tell us about yourself

I began my career at IIT guwahati in 2019. I always try to

bring people together and working towards common goals,
whether they are my friends, family memebers or may be
relatives.

Currently, I am mentoring some students in 2nd year of my core

department. I always try to keep them motivated. I hold
regular meetings with them to tell them the importance of
upcoming part of their career and provide them some very
useful resources regarding their needs.

I always enjoy to communicate others.

As I come from rural area, there i try hard not to miss any
opportunity to know about the old styles by communicating with
grand parents or any other old persons.

Actually, I beleive in ideology saying "A little goes a long

way". I can demostrate it by sharing an activity where i had
been asked by head of village to motivate the villagers for
getting shots of vaccination. It proved to be
fruitful, although some of them were making fun of my work
behind me, but some of them followed my discourse and they
went to hospital for getting vaccinated.

>biggest mistake

I am a kind of person who tries to learn from every mistake

and grow from it. I remember that i had made a very big
mistake while i was seeking for admission to persue my
graduation. After declaration of jee-adv results, it was the
time to fill my first round choices of college and course
combination. What happened? There in hurry i filled a choice of
a B.Sc. course in IIT kanpur, and also i had participated in
mock round. Also there i got that choice , later when i had
revisited my choices , there i found that huge mistake and
corrected at the instant, there i thought that my little
carelessness could throw in my no interest area. From that
incident,i always revisit every type of work before final
submission to find the mistake and correct it.
>Have you worked with someone you did not like and was
difficult to get along with?

I aim at understanding the person and knowing what made him

behave this way. I did this through engaging in a project that
involved working close with a colleague, by the end of it; I
had managed to understand the person and worked towards
building a positive relationship. I understood that one might
be wrong and then, I worked towards building on strengths
rather than concentrating on weaknesses.

>What are the qualities you look for in your immediate

boss/supervisor?

I would like to see some essential qualities like clear

communication, treating employees with respect, available when
needed, allows me to work with minimal supervision, yet
assists me in removing roadblocks that, in turn, increase my
productivity etc.

>What steps do you take to improve yourself?

I am taking courses to learn more about computer/programming

or pursuing a degree side by side. When I am alone, I learn
more about communication for example, learing elglish
communication, speaking with self, self questioning and then
answering it etc.

>What are your hobbies/interests outside work?

When i am out of work, then i try to communicate with others,

Also i had earlier mentioned that i come from rural area, So
while walking during evening, I met many persons and talk with
them about the situation and what's going. If i found someone
stucked , Then i try to help them on my pace.
Also, one thing i wanna share with you, that I like singing
and sing a little sometime. Also I like to play keyboard in my
free time, although i have not physical keyboard, i try
through the app.
