Week of Respect Week this Week!

Thank you to all our Cubs, Families, and Friends for such a successful Fun Run!
We raised more funds than we’ve ever done before and we appreciate everyone’s
generosity and support! The students had a wonderful time and everyone got
really WET and Bubbly!

Cox Cub of the Week: Congratulations to the following students for earning the
“Cub of the Week” award for their class: Gunner Beranek, Mylan Houston,
Quinn Stone, Kurt Zielinski, Jackson Roche, Evan Veloz-Martinez, Deegan Ferrer,
Emmy Walker, Skyler Chong, Ethan Williams, and Rajan Gomez!

DMC Updates: Some awesome updates for our building! We are in line to get a full building carpet replacement this
year (hopefully over winter break) and we are also in line for a technology update (to begin after winter break). The
technology update will include a new computer lab, 250 new chromebooks, charging carts for chromebooks, and
teacher laptops; next on our list is to work on getting funding for chromebook protective cases. We are still waiting
on the student seating benches which were removed during our asphalt resurfacing…hopefully soon.

Cox Covid Update: We have our first round of room air purifiers! They are being placed in the office and
specialists’ classes first. Please utilize the new CCSD COVID-19 Parent/Guardian hotline to report your student's
positive COVID test result or your child's recent exposure to a COVID positive individual. The CCSD COVID-19
Parent/Guardian Hotline is available Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm and can be reached by calling
702-799-4322. Free COVID -19 testing options at Southern Nevada Health District and vaccination resources are
available at Southern Nevada Health District Vaccines.”
