1. Purpose of Method Statement

Purpose of this statement is to describe the process of replacing the conduit pipe

of the duct bank in the manhole.

2. Scope

This method statement covers to change the arrangement of the pipe in the

duct bank and manhole.

3. Manpower

 Project Chief Engineer

 Electrical Engineer

 Electricians

 Helper

 QA/QC Inspector

 Safety Officer

4. Tools and Materials

CHEC shall provide the necessary tools and materials needed for this work.
- Tape measure
- Marker or pencil
- Chipping gun

5. Details Procedure

a. Ensure the right configuration of the pipe as recommended.

b. Remove the existing pipe that need to replace.

c. Put a mark at each new location of the pipe in a manhole.

d. Chip the concrete manhole according to the new location of the pipe
until to reach the diameter that is needed for enter each of the pipes.

e. Place the pipe in manhole to complete the new arrangement of the
duct bank before repairing the concrete.
f. Keep the pipe together with the manhole for preparation of concrete
repair.
g. For concrete repair refer to the Method Statement of Concrete
Repairs Revision A.
