internet with their cellphones. Even children are acquainted with tools and amenities of the
object. Due to so many facilities provided by mobile phones nowadays, the abundant part of

in our health.

people’s lives and the future use of them. First, this research will reveal how the mobile phone
emerged and who pioneered the idea.

Currently education is making a move toward the use of more technology within
classrooms ranging from elementary to the collegiate level. In high schools and colleges,
devices being used commonly for educational purpose are tablents.

In modern classrooms, instructors face many challenges as they complete for students’
attention among variety of communication stimuli. Rapid growth of mobile computing, including
smarts phones and tablets presents a double-edged problem, along with unimaginable access
to information come with unforeseen distractions.

A major concern for many instructors is the potential distraction caused by students
using their mobile devices to text, play games, check Facebook, tweet or engage in other
activities available to them in a rapidly evolve digital technology. That concern has potential
merit; recent statistics from the Pew Foundation show that the median number of daily texts for
order teens rose from 60 in 2009 to 100 in 2011. Moreover 64% of teens who own cell phones
have texted during class, even in schools where cell phones are technically.

diminish key social skills like effective listening. As one communicator noted, we think of
phones as a communication tool, but the truth is they may be just the opposite. Other views
suggest people are adapting to new communication norms in an increasingly digital world,
learning to quickly attend to process and respond to multiple and sometimes simultaneous
message.

REVIEW OF ABOUT RELATED LITERATURE

A mobile phone is a phone that can make and receive telephone calls over a radio link
while moving around a wide geographic area. It does so by connecting to a cellular network
provided by a mobile phone operator, allowing access to the public network. In addition
according to Henrich (2015) modern also support wide range variety of other services such a
text messaging, MMS, email, internet, access, short range, wireless communication, Bluetooth,
business applications, gaming and photography.

The purpose of mobile phones is use as learning tools by accessing the internet, using
them as a calculator and searching the dictionary in order positive affect classroom grades.

Dietz and Henrich (2015) found that since the increase technology in the classroom
(e.g. use of cellphones) there has been increased report of a decline in over all grades and
decrease in seat. Using cellphones in the classroom has been connected with lower recall and
a decrease in student satisfaction with there study.

Chandler- Oltcolt and Mahar (2016)believe classroom that integrate technology within
everyday social learning environments will gain potential to promote more academically related
interest within the school.

Today a cellphone is not just a rich man’s fashion accessory in Philippines. It’s
transforming the way millions of people do business in a country where even land lines were
luxury barely a decade ago. According to Oxford English Dictionary the word Cellphone or”
mobile” was in association with the Latin phrase “mobile valgus” excitable crowd. Cellphone
technology new sense and connectivity to social life.

Smith (2011) presented that 87% of smart phone owners say that they mostly go online
using their phone rather than say they mostly go online using their phone, rather than with PC.
This support our assumption that smart phones related PC’s as a mean of access to the
internet.

Same study by Lanigan, et al (2010) in her research presented that form a sample of 97
internet user the majority of participants (89%) perceived that the PC impact and 20% a mostly
negative impact.

Another research suggests that many college student perceive the cellphone primarily
as a leisure device, and mostly commonly use cell phones for social networking, surfing the
internet, watching videos, and playing games (LEPP 2015).

Thus constant usage and addiction to cell phones has affected the people physical,
psychologically and socially. Excessive mobile phones use has been found to be associated
with health problems. An estimation around 4.5 billion of people using cellphone worldwide
Goswaniatal (2016).

Inappropriate use of mobile phone by students presents may deleterious affects for
example, usage of phones during lectures cause disturbance.
