I. Introductory Concept:

In this particular lesson, the students are going to learn the importance of
understanding the concept of cause and effect relationship in a particular
situation. This topic is very important in this present time where all the world is
facing an enormous problem – the Covid 19 Pandemic. Hence, learning the
concept embodied in this particular lesson will in one way or another be able to
contribute to the mitigation of the effects of this Corona Virus.

The concept of Cause and effect relationship.

A cause-effect relationship is a relationship in which one event (the cause)


makes another event happen (the effect). Moreover, one cause can have several
effects. More precisely, it is a relationship between actions and reactions.
Wherein, the cause (action) explains why something happens while the effect
(reaction) describes what happens.

Upon learning this particular topic, students are now expected to apply what
they have learned in this lesson by performing the required activities, tasks, and
assignment provided hereunder.

Use a range of verbs, adjectives and adverbs to convey emotional response or reaction to an
issue to persuade
Verbs are words used to indicate an action, state, or occurrence, and they
form the main part of the predicate of a sentence.
Examples: Perla caught some fish.
They watch movies every Saturday.
Frontliners are the modern-day heroes.
Adjectives are called modifiers because they limit, change or explain
further the meaning of the noun or pronoun that they modify. Usually, they answer
the questions what kind, which one, how many, and how much.
Examples : Curly hair looks beautiful.
The tall lady is the president.
Anna has an expensive watch.
Adverbs modify a verb, an adjective and another adverb.
They may be a word, phrase, or a clause that usually modifies the predicate
of the sentence.
Examples: The story ended happily.
Victor walks very fast.
An exceedingly tall man visited the store.
Persuasion is a process or a skill by which you get people to vote on your
favor, stop doing something, or sway them to change their mind on a given issue.
