Topic 2 Cell Learning Task
Topic 2:
Directions: Create a Cell Analogy using your house. Illustrate the different cell in terms of the
different rooms, furniture’s, appliances, and/or your family members in your house.
Guidelines:
1. Do a cell analogy using your house.
2. Decide how each room, furniture’s, appliances, and/or your family members in your house
can be like into a eukaryotic cell organelle in terms of their work or roles in your house.
3. Create a visual representation (drawing) of your analogy illustrating all of the parts
representing the cell organelles/structures
➢ You may use any type of paper.
➢ The use of coloring materials is not a requirement.
4. Make sure your analogous parts are logical and accurate representations of the
organelles.
5. Label each part of your system with its name and the cell structure name. [Example:
father-nucleus]
6. Give an explanation of your analogy by giving at least 10 cell organelles - house part
analogy by filling in Table 1 for the summary of your cell analogous structure.
7. Write you name on the upper right portion of your illustration and submit.
