Objectives.

 Draw, label and annotate plant cells ( onion and leaf cells) as seen from a
light microscope
 Calculate the magnification of plant cell drawn
Drawing your own plant cells from under the
light microscope.
 Task 1: Draw the three highlighted cells from the onion and the three highlighted leaf
cell, this should be done on blank paper.
 Note: Drawing must follow the rules for scientific drawing. Drawing must look like three
cells from image.

types of plant cells you have drawn.

 Tasks 3: If the objective lens was x10 and the eye piece was x10.
