ARTS
VISUAL ART (2D,3D)
Art forms that create works that are primarily visual in nature, such as
ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, print making, design, crafts,
photography, video, film making and architecture.

Two-Dimensional Art
 Techniques are those in a flat plane.
 No significant depth.
 Has only 2 Dimensions such as length and a width, and no
thickness.

Three-Dimensional Art
 Type of artwork painted or drawn in a specific wat that creates an
optical illusion that tricks the mind into believing.
 Describes an image that provide the perception of depth.
 Has 3 Dimensions such as length, width and a width.
3 Types of 3D Art

1. Sculpture- processes originally used carving and modeling in


stone, metal, ceramics and wood.

2. Architecture- the art or practice of designing and constructing


buildings.
3. Media Art- artworks created with technologies including digital art,
computer graphics, computer animations, video games, 3D printing.

a. Digital Art- can be computerized, scanned or drawn using a tablet.

b. Computer Graphics- deals with generating images with the aid of


computers

c. Computer Animations- art of creating moving images via the use of


computers.

d. Video games- electronic game that involves interaction with user


interface or input device such as joystick, controller, keyboard or
motion sensing devices.
e. 3D Printing- process of making a physical object from three-
dimensional digital model and input in the computer.
