1. Translate the following sentences:

A) Many financial savings can be made by using superheaters.
Mnoge finansijske uštede se mogu ostvariti korištenjem pregrijača.

The mixture of steam and water rises into the drum where water and steam are separated from each other so
they both could leave the drum separately and occupy space reserved for them: the water goes to the
downcomer tubes, whereas the heat gets into the steam space.
Mješavina pare i vode se podiže u doboš gdje se voda i para razdvajaju jedna od druge tako da obje mogu
napustiti doboš/izaći iz doboša/biti ispuštene iz doboša i zapremiti/zauzeti prostor (koji je) predviđen za njih:
voda ide u silazne/odvodne cijevi, dok toplota odlazi u prostor za paru.

Water passing through downcomer tubes flows right into the waterwall tubes where the largest portion of
steam generated in boilers is produced.
Voda koja protiče kroz odvodne cijevi teče direktno u ekranske cijevi gdje se najveći dio proizvedene kotlovske
pare proizvodi.

Larger boilers are fitted both with superheaters and economizers whose main purpose is to heat the feedwater.
Veći kotlovi su opremljeni i sa pregrijačima i sa ekonomajzerima čija je osnovna svrha zagrijavanje napojne vode.

The steam is superheated to the temperature required.

Para se pregrijava do potrebne temperature.

Where is the pulverized solid fuel fired and what kind of mixture is introduced into the furnace chamber through
the burners?
Gdje se praškasto čvrsto gorivo / čvrsto gorivo u prahu pali i kakva vrsta mješavine se uvodi u komoru peći kroz
gorionike?

B) Potrebno je da peć ili oprema za sagorijevanje goriva osiguraju maksimalno potpuno sagorijevanje goriva s
minimalnom količinom viška zraka.
It is necessary that the furnace or fuel-burning equipment ensure maximum complete combustion of the fuel
with the minimum amount of excess air.

Osim toga, proizvodi nastali sagorijevanjem se moraju ohladiti do specifične prethodno određene temperature.
Besides/moreover, combustion products/products of combustion must be cooled down to a specific preset
temperature.

Ozid parnog kotla u koje ubrajamo zidove i plafon kotlovske jedinice je izrađen od cigle, posebnih ploča, te lima
debljine 4mm.
