THE WINDING ROAD

The winding road leading up to the Lich's Heart is long,

treacherous and steep. The crumbling cobblestone road is all
bug dug up which makes climbing the steep inclines more
difficult. It is hard to believe that this road was once flowing
with carts and wagons.

Hundreds of gravestones are spread across this large

graveyard as far as the eye can see. All of the graves seem very,
very old and have not been cared for in sometime. Out of the
corner of your eye you can see what look like newer
gravestones.

The ground begins to shake. The Gravestones start to topple

over as the dirt begins to shift and hands begin to burst forth
from the ground.

This simple hallway stretches around the entire castle. Along

THE LICH'S HEART

3. Kitchen
This room has not been entered in years. There is a large table
in the centre of the room with knives stabbed into it. On the
southern wall is a large oven that looks like caught fire at one
time. A chained up locked hatch is in the southwest corner of
this room. There is a strange liquid in the sink in the west
counter, in the middle of the liquid is a key that seems to sit
CLIFF'S PEAK still in the liquid.

The broken road winds up a steep incline. At the top of the

cliff you can see the outline of a huge castle. Parts of the cliff
have begun to crumble around the castle, the front entrance is
across a 100ft ravine, the bottom cannot be seen. It's amazing
the castle hasn't fallen into the depths below.

4A. Main Hall

This grand hall stands tall and glorious. It looks as pristine as it
did when it was originally built. This was once the entrance
way to the castle. The large double doors stand sealed shut on

MAIN FLOOR
1. Armoury and Guards quarters.
The south eastern corner of this room is collapsed and can be

5. Library
There are more books in this room than anyone could every
read in a life time. Every self in this library is packed full of
books on every subject and in every language. Tall lanterns
light the room. In the middle of the room is a small desk in
which an old woman sits reading. She does not stir as you
enter the room.
3. Eruralnun's Chambers.
Books, papers, scrolls, are scattered through out this massive
bed chamber. Piles of old texts in various languages are
riddled all over the floor. There is no safe place to step without
stepping on a something. The bed looks like it hasn't been
slept in for years, that of course being difficult with the
amount of books and papers on it. A desk is seen in the north
end of the room, once again covered in books. A book case
wraps around the south east corner of the room.

3A. Eruralnun's Closet.

This long cluttered closet is full of wardrobes, sitting on each
wardrobe is a skull. Moths inhabit the drawers eating away at
the tattered clothes in each of the wardrobes. The strangest
thing in this room is the tall bookshelf in the southeast corner
of the room.

1. Upper Hall
The hall opens up to the ceiling. There is a floating chandler
held up in the middle of the gap in the floor. The norther

seems like the stairs themselves illuminate so they are viable.

2. Door to Eruralnun's chambers.

These massive double doors are sealed shut. There is no knob
or handle to speak of. The doors are decorated with an image
of a tall man is wizards robes holding the hands of a figure that
has been burnt off of the door. The entire right door looks like
it was set on fire but is still sturdy. As you approach the door a

4. Apprentice's Room
This neatly kept room is immaculate, nothing is out of place.

9. Collapsed Room.
This room shows the castles age. The ceiling and eastern wall
are completely collapsed and the room is full of debris. It
looks like what ever once stood in this room has long since
been destroyed.

5. Empty Apprentice's Room

This room has been torn apart. Nothing is where it should be
as if someone was looking for something in a hurry. A female
human corpse can be found hunched over the desk.

6. Staff's Quarters
A simple room, a bed, a desk and a dresser all arranged nicely.

B1A. Store Room
This cluttered room is full of boxes and barrels of old
preserves. Dried and rotten fruits, vegetables and wheat are
pack in every box and barrel in this room. There are two doors
on the easter wall of this room. A strong rotting smell is
coming from the most south door.

of the room is a massive alter, upon which is a large stone
coffin. It looks at though there was once a sculpture chiselled
into the lid but as of now is crumbled and burnt away. A small
box can be seen on the coffin.

Epilogue

B3. Dungeon
This circular room is full of cells. Seven of them have bodies
rotting in them. One is more recent than the others. There are
four cells that are smaller with an iron door on them. They
cannot be seen into. A banging can be heard coming from the
northern cell.
