A NARRATIVE REPORT DURING THE CARASUC BOOK WRITESHOP ‘19

“Knowledge is everything, but teaching is a different thing.”

It has been said that knowledge is an integral part of teaching, but to be an

effective and efficient teacher does not only require knowledge but also effective
strategies and efficient teaching methods and approaches.

The 2019 CARASUC Book Writeshop aims to capacitate faculty members within
state universities and colleges in the region in developing an Instructional Material
which can be a tool to be an efficient facilitator of learning. The speakers who are from
Bulacan State University shared the mechanics of book writing and book publishing.

The said seminar was held on October 11-12 at the Multipurpose Hall, Lamut
Campus of Ifugao State University. It was responded by the Kalinga State University
and sent two faculty members namely; Ms. Jinky G. Valdez and Mrs. Odette C.
Pannogan. It was also participated by other SUCs in CAR such as MPSPC, BSU and
the host university, IFSU.
