Title:
"Ang pag-asa sa panahon ng pandemiya."

Location: Purok Malipayon 2, Saub Mabay Maitum Sarangani Province

Time: 5:01pm
Date: May 19, 2021

Carving a substance from this photo. Here in the middle of rivalry of light and darkness draws
a shape of the joyful child playing her wheel , rolling on the seashore.
This image inspires and reminds me about the HOPE during this pandemic. Looking
positively in today's situation. Putting back the hope in every eyes of people, either older or
young ones.
I share this wonderful photo for all of us to see, that we, the children in the land who carries
the future of our country.

I have also render a song entitled "Itanong mo sa mga Bata" by Asin band in 1970's. This
song groans in our lives this season starting year 2019 to 2021 about the generation of old and
now. Something has changed a lot mentally, physically, emotionally spiritually and even the
perspective of future ahead were truly affected.

However, there is only one thing that cannot change about what God predestined to installed
the heart of destiny through in our lives within. "We are the hope that awaits around us to the
hopeless situation, we are not the hopeless to become homeless."

Beyond what is captured, is the reality that being a Filipino comes with the inherent value of
holding dear the concept of unity. Helping hands, caring gestures, and pure intentions are
common scenes in our daily lives. More importantly, may this picture reminds us of the more
fundamental things; the love and warmth when we do something, and the willingness to do
good and live peacefully with others. Not only to spread positivity, but to make sure that the
coming generations will still treasure and live out what was important for our ancestors, and
what should be important for us now...UNITY.

As one of the offshore barangays in the Municipality of Maitum, Barangay Mabay is also
known for being wealthy in terms of agriculture by producing copra from coconut trees from
which oil is obtained. With our current health crisis situation brought by the COVID-19, we
consider our farmers as one of our modern heroes as they take the cudgel for the nation’s
requirements at this time of the pandemic by “providing food on our tables.”
