performance of this modification. Indeed, several of them have reached the provisional

In time, the examination of the gearboxes on their return for general overall will be used

- extend the TBO by stages, with the aim of returning to the initial figure of 3000

1.7 MAINTENANCE OPERATIONS AND LIMITATIONS

1.7.1 GENERAL
Limit operating times, periodicities and inspection programmes are in the Servicing Programme (PRE).
It is described in the following headings:
( 1 ) Airworthiness limitations (chapter 05.99)
Lists inspection intervals (CHK) as well as service lives (SLL) certified by the Civil Air force Authorities
( 2 ) Periodicities and limit operation times (chapter 05.10)
Describes the use limitations of structure parts, equipement or assemblies as per three criteria:
a- OTL (Operating Time Limit) use limitation defined by the manufacturer for a given element
b- TBO (Time Between Overhaul) use limitation defined by the manufacturer of an assembly between overhaul
c- OC (On Condition) use limitation in condition monitoring in accordance with defined criteria

( 3 ) Periodical inspections (chapter 05.20)

Describes the inspection intervals on the different elements during life of the helicopter or its components.
Depending on the type of use of the helicopter, these intervals are given in operating hours, in cycles
or in calendar time.
There are several types of inspections:
Implementation inspections (daily inspections)
Periodical inspections
Aperiodical inspections
