(WATER –PROOFING WORK)

UTILITY AREA- Workshop

Procedure

 Water proofing area (Terrace) to be cleaned.

 Applying of Water Cement Paste.
 Laying of mortar as per specification.
 Laying of Brick pieces on mortar as per required slope
 Curing of water for two to three days.
 Second layer of mortar mixed with water proofing chemical
as per required slope.
 Making Curves on all sides of wall on the second layer at a
height of 300mm.
 Finishing of mortar on second layer and marking 300 x 300
blocks using linedoore.
 Very next day after completion will store water for 15 days.
 Water storage on whole area up to two inches.

Equipment, Tools & Tackles Used

Hammer Spanners, Spradder, Trowal, Span (Ghamela)

Aluminum Patti, Plumb bob, wooden flod, Randa, Spanj

Construction Material Used

River Sand, Cement, Brick Pieces, Water proofing material,

 METHOD STATEMENT

UTILITY AREA-SUB-STATION

Purpose: Excavation for Footing

Scope of work
 Excavation up to 2 mtrs.
 Side cutting, Dressing & leveling manually.
 Transported of soil to designated area.
Procedure
(1) De-markation of footing to be excavated.
(2) Proper access making for vehicle movement
(3) Dressing leveling and side cutting using hand tools
(manually)
(4) Excavation using mechanical machines dumpers &
tractors.
(5) Transportation of soil to designated area using dumpers
etc.
(6) Area barrication around excavated area.
(7) Access to be provided for entry exit to pit excavated.

Equipments Used
Poclain, JCB, Dumpers, Tractors.
Safety Measures
 PPE”S will be provided to all work men.
 Proper access for vehicle movements.
 Aluminums ladder for entry & exit into pit 1.00mtr
above N.G.L. & fixed properly.
 Hard barrication 1.00 mtr away from excavated pit.
 Swing area defines & barricaded any one side
around excavator.
 Continuous supervision.
 In case of soil collapse strating/shoring shall be done
