WASH IN Schools or Water, Sanitation and Hygiene is a program made by the
Department of Education under D.O No. 10 last 2016. This promotes the correct hygiene
and sanitation practices among school children and a clean environment in and around
schools to keep learners safe and healthy.

WASH in Binan Integrated National High School promotes a Handwashing


Program for all sections among the 5000 students from Grade7 up to Grade 12. The
Binan Integrated National High School principal, teachers, together with the SSG officers,
with the help and support of parents, barangay officials and other community stakeholders
work hand in hand in encouraging and promoting the appropriate and proper hygiene of
students to maintain and secure clean and healthy environment for sustainable learning.
Because we do believe that a proper hygiene is next to a healthy life and well-being.

Also with the help of our supportive principal Ms. Julie Ann Natividad, they have
inspected the classroom, canteen, handwashing facilities, potable water facility and the
Gulayan sa Paaralan located at the Senior High School Building. These activities
advocate to ensure the cleanliness of the facilities in school’s vicinity.
