ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
In my practice time, I know that I could not do it with my ability only.
Therefore, I would like to send my thanks to people who helped me during my
practice time.
First of all, I would like to thank all school managing board of Quang Nam
University created a good environment for me to study and develop my
knowledge as well as my English skills.
Thank Department of Foreign Language in Quang Nam University created
condition for me to practice at Nguyen Van Troi Secondary school. I also would
like to send to all teachers of Department of Foreign Languages in Quang Nam
University who educated me during three years my gratefulness.
Besides, I would like to thank Mr. Phan Ngoc Sang - Principal and Mrs. Huỳnh
Thị Nhất - Vice- chancellor of Nguyễn Văn Trỗi Secondary School who created
a good condition to me to practice in this school. Thank for Mrs. Thu and Mrs.
Van , teacher of English of Nguyễn Văn Trỗi School, who directs and supports
lots of working experiences to me to work and learn many practical experiences
at teaching method, all teachers in this school who helped and shared with me
about their experiences. I also thank for all students at Nguyen Van troi
Secondary school helped me to have a good lesson.
Finally, I would like to express my sincere and deepest gratitude to Mrs. Thu
Van her guidance and encouragement during my practice time.

CHAPTER 1:SCHOOL.
(Nguyen Van Troi secondary school).
I find that teachers of English play an important role in helping students have
knowledge about the second language. Moreover, being a teacher of English is
my dream. So that, through the practice time, I would like to learn more about
teaching methods to prepare professional competence for my job in the future.
Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School is the school where I studied in. Teachers
of this school have much experiences of teaching method.
2.2. The formation and development.
The secondary school Nguyen Van Troi is located Duong Dan hamlet,
Tam Dan commune, Phu Ninh district, Quang Nam province. The school is
located in the administrative center of the District of Phu Ninh about 1.5 km to
the Southwest. The school was established in 1997. The precursor was the
Secondary School which was build in 1980. With more than 30 years’ teaching
experiences, Nguyen Van Troi school has educated for hundreds generation of
students.
1.3 Organizational structure and management structure.
Nguyen Van Troi Secondary School is managed by managing board:
Principal : Phan Ngoc Sang
Vice- chancellor: Huynh Thi Nhat.
The total number of officers, teachers, public employees are 42 members,
(including 43 teachers, 2 managers and 5 staff) and 649 students. The number
standard professional teachers are exchangeable of 49/ 49 reached 100%.
a. Physical Group
Group leader: Mr. Nguyen Quoc Minh
The number of teachers: 7.
The physical group has responsibility teach physical subjects.
b. Sociality Group
Group leader: Mr: Vo Van Hieu
The number of teacher: 8
The sociality group has responsibility teach sociality subject

The union president: Mrs. Pham Thi Bich Thu.

The school trade union has responsibility managing trade union members and
ensuring the interests of trade union members

The secretary of decency: Miss. Tran Thi Tien Quyen.
And 45 member.
The Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth League has responsibility managing union
members and holding activities for union member.
f. The Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer Union.
The Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneer union has responsibility managing union
member, training and holding activities.
CHAPTER 2: Job description
My job is a teacher in the secondary school. Teacher practice is not simple, but
not too difficult as I thought. A teacher is often the first contact of the students.
It is an expectation of most organizations that the teacher maintains a calm,
courteous, professional and behavior. At all times, I am regardless of the
student’s behavior. Therefore, I think that teacher is a very enjoyable and
interesting job.
The first, being a teacher may include making the acquaintance with students,
find out the organization of school. The next, I am trained on skill teaching
skill, I can have chance to learn experience from professional teachers.
Moreover, with this job, I could contact with everybody better. Consequently,
understand of fastidious students, I must be patient. I have to sympathize and
listen to all requests from students. They are nice, courteous and polite so my
job is favorable and safe. My mistakes were always been sympathized by them.
In summary, this job requires neat appearance, good sense of humor and clear
speaking voice. Especially, the teacher must patiently investigate, have specific
knowledge and be able to communicate well. Maybe thể are reasons, why I have
changed my thought and bad habits. Hence, I love this job, which gave me a
patient virtue and professional working style.
I spent 10 weeks training in the “secondary school Nguyen Van Troi”. I went to
the school 3 days a week. Sometimes, I am took part in activities at school.

- In the morning: from 7h00 A.M to 11h15 A.M
- In the afternoon: from 12h45 P.M to 17h00 P.M

III. Suggestions
* For Nguyen Van Troi Secondary school:
Dividing students into two kinds of students. One is ethnic minority students
and the other is kinds students. It is easier for teachers in teaching because they
can make lesson plan suitable with each kind of students.
Holding training class for the remedial students.
Creating conditions for students to develop English skill through English
contests.
* For students who learning English
You must study more especially grammar and pronunciation because when you
pronounce wrongly, it means that your students will pronounce wrongly too.
And when you have a good knowledge, you will be more confident in teaching.
