a. specification and transport to workshop for overhaul.
Overhaul the list below with disconnecting and removing cover, spindle and gland, cleaning all
b. exposed parts, hand grinding of globe valve, light hand scraping of gate
Painting internal exposed area with antifouling coating areas and outside area with 2 x Anti
c. corrosive (AC) and reassembling with new cover joint and repacking 1 AU Q Include
d. Renew damaged valve with proven material (cast steel) as the class rules.
Test for leaking, on completion box up with new gasket, gland packing and grease with Pressure
e. test (10 kg/cm2) or 1.5 of Working Pressure and allow Class
f. Reinstall on board with renew seatring valve to be included on the quotation, On refloating vessel
all valves are to be proved tight, in presence of owner's representative.
