WILLIAM FOGG
Introduction

 It is safe to say that everyone

experiences a different life than those
around them. Within those different
lives comes different experiences that
can influence who you are, not only
as a person, but as a leader as well. It
is important for one to assess and
identify a better understanding of
themselves before having the
expectation to understand and lead
others. Over the course of this
PowerPoint, I will discuss not only
themes involving my life experience,
but data from assessment sources.
Data Sources

 The work life experience I will refer to, is the experience and knowledge I have gained throughout my short professional life. I will discuss how this
experience is relevant to the themes I provided.

 Personal Life Experience (PLE)

provided.

 Work Styles Pattern Inventory Assessment (WSP)

 The WSP is a validated assessment that helps identify one’s relationship to work.

 Kuder Career Interest Assessment (KCI)

 The KCI is also a validated assessment that uses years of research to guide every stage of one’s career to help push it to success.

 Kuder Work Values Inventory (KWV)

 The KWV is like the KCI but focuses more on the importance of work values to help identify the proper career choices and development.

 Conceptualizing Leadership Questionnaire (CLQ)

 The CLQ is the assessment that started my journey into the organizational leadership degree with OGL 200. This assessment helps identify how one
perceives leadership.

 Career Anchors Assessment (CAA)

 The CAA is an assessment that focuses on career values and to also help identify a career path for individuals.

 Cultural Dimensions Self Assessment (CDS)

 The CDS focuses on your cultural knowledge and preference within organizations.

Mission Statement
As a child, I experienced every range of lifestyle you could imagine.
At one point, I was living in a trailer with my family and the next, we
were living in one of the nicest houses in town. I remember the
negatives and positives in both those environments and see what I
want my children to grow up in. Success has always been a mindset
of mine and I want to be able to provide certain luxuries to my
children that experienced not having, as well as having.

Reflection:
I believe this mission statement coincides with much of the results I
achieved in my assessments. I believe the data supports my mission in
providing a healthy and luxurious lifestyle for my family.
Conclusion
Throughout my experience taking organizational leadership courses,
we are constantly taking assessments or identifiers to help us deem
what styles of leaders we are or will become. These assessments also
show us what type of work environment we are looking for. I can say
that when taking these assessments, I was kind of numb to the results
and just looked at it as another assignment. But this assignment
helped me take a closer look at the assessments and fit all the pieces
together to help me have a better understanding of what kind of
leader I am destined to be and what type of work environment I want
to be a leader of.
