Raising our voice is the right thing to do if we see our fellow
—filipino's injustices. We must keep our eyes on the prize even as
we struggle to recognize each one's dignity and fight for one's
human rights. There may be different accounts or versions of the
event, but one thing is sure, the 1872 Cavite Munity pave the way
for momentous 1898. We must not forget that before we came to
cross the victory, our forefathers suffered enough. As we enjoy
freedom, may we become more historically aware of our injustices
in the past
, to have a better future.
